18 holes golf, tennis and the nice Salema beach at 2,8 km .

Kitchen renewed with new oven and dishwasher and totally repainted.

This property is a 2 bedroom, 6 persons, 2 bathroom furnished townhouse with terrace, in an excellent position on the luxury golf resort of Parque da Floresta, 15 minutes drive from Lagos.The Cottage is very well equipped. Also Wifi(fiber) and SMART TV. And heating by pellet burner. Also solarpanels , e,nergy friendly use.It has fabulous views over the resort to the ocean beyond.The spa with gym, indoor pool is also a walk away as are the outdoor pools (including childrens pool) with bar and snacks We are a 2 minutes walk from the spectacular championship 18 hole golf course - All guests receive 40% discount on golf green fees. At the Golf Clubhouse there is a top class restaurant and snacks are served at the Spikebar overlooking the 18th green. The resort also has driving range and golf practice facilities, floodlit tennis courts, archery range and horse riding is nearby. Also perfect for roadcycling or mountainbike.( Bike rental company Musette.bike at 7 minutes drive )There is an excellent Italian restaurant next to the resort reception which also does a takeaway pizza service. A few minutes away by car you have unspoilt beaches and small family restaurants. The village of Budens with a fully stocked supermarket is only 5 minutes drive as is the wonderful sandy beach of Salema. Also big supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi are in Villa Do Bispo at 7 minutes driving.

A very nice property, modern, well equipped and great location. A few technical issues with some of the electrics (me being not up to date with technology) and a slight issue with drainage in one bathroom (Site issue) but overall a really nice place, well fitted out and perfect location, cant argue with it at all. Good open space, kitchen/dining area and the owner replied to questions straight away.

First trip to Portugal

We just spent the month of March in this villa. It was exactly as described and we found this quiet, rural location suited us perfectly. There are several grocery stores and many restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive and Lagos is just 15 minutes away where there are many restaurants and great shopping, beaches, sites to explore and hiking. As mentioned in the listing, you will need a car for this location but to really experience all the Algarve has to offer, a car is essential. We would stay here again in the future! Thanks to the host for being helpful and prompt with replies and addressing all our questions before and during our stay.

Perfect stay at Algarve

We had a wonderful stay in Stief‘s house near Budens. The house is equipped with everything you need for staying at a home away from home. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, only 2 min walk from gym and very clean pool. The beautiful Salema beach is only 5 min drive away and even in summer high season you can find enough space for yourself. I can recommend the house for everyone who likes quiet holidays away from the crowded tourist areas. If we had any question Stief or the supervisor, who works at the resort, responded immediately. A casa superou claramente as nossas expectativas! Boas dimensões, duas WCs (para 4 pessoas deu bastante jeito), cozinha super equipada e um alpendre bastante convidativo para churrasco de final de dia. O único "senão" é estar localizada numa zona mais afastada da rua principal/ centro urbano, o que faz com que se esteja totalmente dependente do carro; mas por outro lado tem a vantagem de se estar na calma, sossego e paz perfeitos :)

Séjour très reposant dans une maison tout confort

Cette maison charmante se trouve dans un domaine très joli sur un golf. C’est très calme il ne faut pas s’attendre à avoir de l’animation. La maison est parfaitement equipee et pourrait être un peu plus propre notamment sous les meubles

Teleurstellend

De woning bevindt zich op een golfresort dat niet alleen door de Corona is getroffen maar al langer financiële problemen heeft (we hebben daar wat onderzoek gedaan). Toen wij aankwamen leek het op een spookdorp. Het zwembad was open maar troosteloos door een dichte fitness ruimte , SPA en poolbar. Het restaurant op de golfbaan en het restaurant aan het begin van het park waren gesloten. Dit was van tevoren allemaal niet gemeld en dat vinden we niet fair. We hebben juist vóór dit resort gekozen vanwege de faciliteiten met een aantal sporters en dit was dus teleurstellend. Daarnaast was het appartement in oude staat. De terrasstoelen braken een voor een door (goedkope plastic stoelen) en de meubels en Lampen binnen zijn weinig gezellig of waren ook kapot. Ook de waterkraan in de badkamer deed het niet en moest gemaakt worden door mijn man. Concluderend hadden wij dit, voor deze prijs niet verwacht. Met name het feit dat alles verlaten en vervallen was op het resort was echt iets wat langer bekend was en mede gedeeld had moeten worden.
