In the heart of Lakeview, still close to downtown, museums and McCormick Place. A quick stroll to Lake Michigan and the beach, Lincoln Park, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Wrigley Field, Mariano's, Trader Joe's, movie theater, great bars and dining, coffee shops and more!

About Our Place:
This is a large, bright, recently renovated two-bedroom condo with high end furnishings and many great details.

- Large living room with fireplace and 60" HDTV with cable including premium channels, as well as a Roku and Blu-Ray DVD player. Enjoy your favorites on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz and premiere sports!

- Kitchen with bar stool seating and a dining table that seats 6, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. An incredible cup of morning coffee or espresso is provided by the Nespresso Vertuo. Make your own gourmet meals or just enjoy great take-out!

- Spacious master suite with queen bed and seating area, marble master bath featuring a separate tub and shower.

- Second bedroom sleeps four with two queen beds. Plenty of closet space! Second full bath as well, no need to wait for the shower!

- Large back deck, which is shared with the other homeowners.

- Free laundry within the apartment.

About The Neighborhood:
East Lakeview is a safe, vibrant neighborhood and our condo is steps from everything. Though it's bustling with activity, we're on a nice leafy street so you'll still get a great night's sleep. With a 97 walk score it's a walkers paradise!

Here are a few of the things we love about Lakeview:

- Great restaurants and bars abound (we love Bar Pastoral, Ceres Table, Dryhop Brewing, Stan's Donuts and Uncommon Ground), all within an easy walk.

- Great coffee shops (boutique gems like Intelligentsia, solid nationals like Peets and Starbucks) are just around the corner.

- Wrigley Field and the Wrigleyville bars and restaurants, about a 15 minute walk away

- All the glitz and excitement of the Boystown neighborhood is a 5-8 minute walk away

- A full-service Mariano's grocery store is just around the corner, and Whole Foods is a 5 minute drive away. Great neighborhood amenities like Trader Joe's, Walgreens, CVS, dry cleaners, salons, etc are all within a block or so. Plus we are a few blocks from the small but cute Nettelhorst Farmers Market (open Saturday mornings through October)!

- The lakefront and Lincoln Park are a 5 minute walk away. Great for hitting the beach, running and biking, or just enjoying the greenery and the sunshine!

How to Get Around:
- Ubers and taxis are plentiful at all hours.

- The major bus lines (22 Clark, 8 Halsted, 36 Broadway, 151 Sheridan, etc) are all within one to three blocks of our condo and can take you anywhere in the city!

- The Brown and Purple line Wellington El stop is just a 5-8 minute walk.

- The Red, Brown and Purple line Belmont El stop is also about a 5-8 minute walk away.

-Divvy bike-sharing station at the end of our block.

- The Loop downtown area is about a 15-20 minute drive down Lake Shore Drive and the McCormick Place convention center is just a 20-25 minute drive down Lake Shore Drive (depending on the time of day).

- We do have a garage parking space, though please keep in mind that it is "city sized" and will fit cars very well though not larger SUVs. We also have overnight street parking permits for our guests!

When we left, there was nothing we needed to do, which made it feel more like a hotel.The place is fully stocked with everything you need (and even things you didn’t know you needed!). We were welcomed with fresh fruit and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which made it feel extra inviting. The accommodations are high-end, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together.The hosts were very responsive, which I really appreciated.The location is perfect—right in the middle of everything, yet surprisingly quiet. You can easily walk to Mariano’s, Starbucks, and great restaurants along Broadway.I would absolutely book this place again.

We loved the condo for its location near supermarkets, restaurants , coffee spots, and Lake Michigan. It was perfect for my husband, adult son and I, as we could walk to visit our daughter and their new baby boy! It is very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed to prepare melas and relax. We highly recommend it and hope to return again.

I can’t say enough about this condominium. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, location was great, beautifully decorated and Jeff was an amazing host. He was very easy to communicate with snd left cookies, flowers, fruit, coffeehouse and cream to welcome us. He responded to text snd phone calls immediately and was always helpful snd accommodating. He checked in with us a few time to make sure everything was okay and to ask if we had any questions. I highly recommend this property snd will definitely stay there if I visit Chicago again. This was perhaps one of the nicest properties I have ever stayed in.

Great spot in the heart of Chicago

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jeff & Lisa's condo. It was very clean, fully stocked with everything needed and so convenient to all we wanted to do. The bonus of a garage parking space was huge! Lovely, quiet street just steps from everything. Having a grocery store right around the corner was great. Easy walks to restaurants, Wrigley Field and the zoo. Our hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to spend some time in Chicago.

Location, Style, comfort!

I’ve stayed at several locations in and around Chicago and this is by far the best! We appreciated the well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, stylish decor and amenities such as garage, washer/dryer, two bathrooms and Nespresso machine (and so much more). The location can’t be beat, you are literally about a two minute walk in either direction to bus stops, shops, restaurants, groceries, coffee, bakery, and more. We also walked to Wrigley Field for a game. We slept really well, the street is super quiet, with mostly foot traffic of locals jogging or walking their dogs. This location is the BEST, the hosts are super attentive and accommodating.

One of the Best

A positive setting in every way. The condo was beautiful, well appointed, and clean. The description and pictures online were accurate. The unit was better stocked for guests than any other we’ve been in.. Public transportation was easily accessible and got us anywhere in the city we wanted to go. Location couldn't be better for us - a block away from my son's apartment and close to everything. Felt like I was home - very comfortable and inviting. When it was cold outside the apartment was warm and cozy inside. The kitchen is fully stocked for a novice or experienced cook. Gave us the opportunity to enjoy the most delicious New Year's Eve dinner cooked by my son. Brought in the New Year with a few laughs at a comedy club only a few short blocks away. This was my first venture into a VRBO and I am so glad I picked this unit. Many thanks to Jeff and Lisa.

Fabulous experience

The condo is a lovely home (best stocked kitchen we have ever found in a vacation rental!) in an ideal location - easy to walk places, safe and quiet neighborhood, etc. Communication with the host was above and beyond - he even helped us sort out parking a moving van! All to say, we will definitely stay here again and greatly appreciated our time there!

We had stayed at another VRBO in the Lakeview East neighborhood many times before. The owner sold and the new owner did not carry on the business. We had to find a new home away from home. We found it. We love the area due to its proximity to so many things Chicago has to offer. Much is within walking distance. Transportation to anywhere in Chicago is very easy from Jeff and Lisa's condo. Most importantly, their condo is spacious, clean, extremely well equipped, and very comfortable. Although we only had one very minor question, that I should have figured out myself, Jeff and Lisa were very quick to respond. Jeff was diplomatic too. He could have said, "Hey knucklehead, you have to aim the remote at the device." He was much nicer. We'll be back!!

Beautiful apartment fantastic hosts

We enjoyed the property it’s was clean and nicely staged. Jeff and Lisa put in the extra effort to make sure we felt welcomed. Fresh flowers, chocolates, cookies, and fresh fruit were waiting for us. We will definitely stay again.
