CLOSE TO ZOO. FREE ASSIGNED PARKING!
I AM FLEXIBLE WITH CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES IF I DONT HAVE BACK TO BACK BOOKINGS.
I use this Condo when I want to spend time in Waikiki so I want it nice! Great location away from the hustle and bustle of people, cars and buses. Well almost, it is Waikiki after all! Located on Lemon Road, a quiet one way street one street mauka (towards the mountains) from Kalakaua and Waikiki Beach. Lemon Road is just one block long so doesn't get much noisy buses!

One block from the beach, Kapiolani park, the zoo, the aquarium and Waikiki Shell (for concerts). Secure building with entry fob that only allows residents to access their floor from the elevator. Only six apartments per floor.

Coin laundry located in parking area. And yes, there is a parking stall assigned specifically for this Condo and it is FREE with the rental. Free parking is a rarity in Waikiki!

No smoking allowed. This condo doesn't have a private lanai however there is small lanai on 9th floor with beautiful blue Pacific Views where you can enjoy the ocean view or read.

Since I mail keys to the guest before their stay, I can’t rent to guests who do not have a US postal address.

This condo at Tradewinds Plaza feels like a HOME away from HOME and not like a hotel.

For two people who don’t plan on staying in the room for long, it’s cute and functional. The air conditioning was an issue the entire time, we tried so hard to keep it together with what they had (tape and cling wrap, clearly what had been used many times too) and it was fine for one small area like just the bed cool during the day but it was no need at night even in the summer months so that was great. There are sticky notes in every room on top of many pages of rules, that was stressful but she was not invasive at all which was great. There was a ton of storage but sadly it was all filled up with the owner’s things making it really hard to unpack and have places to put things. BUT PARKING is the BEST PART! FOR SURE!!!! They had a gated spot, and it was so worth it! If you want a deal and are ok with a hot bathroom and some quirky things, it’s truly a decent place.

I am sorry the ac vent was unsightly for your visit. We had to order a part after a guest pulled it away from the window and tore it. We have replaced it. My cleaner also removed and organized the beach gear to leave more room for guests to unpack. We added sticky notes because we realized not all guests review the information emailed to them. For example, guests broke the blinds numerous times because they were not familiar with the operation. However, we will make the signs more positive and neat!

Perfect Waikiki Stay for do-ers

Perfect spot for us as we planned to spend as little time as possible indoors. All amenities were clean, and enough more for what we expected/needed. Included parking is 100% worth it too! Loved that it was walking distance to everything in Waikiki, yet quiet at night. Check-in/check-out were very easy too. Mahalo!

We just completed our third stay at this condo in the Tradewinds and each time we come we love it more. This year we experienced less street noise and the garbage trucks were coming at better times of day. The common areas are well maintained and the laundry machines and elevator all ran smoothly with no issues.We visit Oahu often and have stayed in many different hotels and condos throughout the years. We appreciate that this is a secure building, with a designated parking space. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkels, literally everything needed to enjoy playing at the beach, which is just a short block away. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed to cook full meals and has a full-size fridge. We highly recommend this condo

Perfect little place right next to everything!

This place was absolutely perfect, very clean, very comfortable. Everything you would need if traveling solo or roomy enough for a couple. Since I was staying alone, I liked the added security for peace of mind. Located just steps away from beaches, the Zoo, dining and shopping. Would definitely stay again and again!

The apartment is small but has everything you need. The location is great. The beach is only 2 blocks away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The freeparking spot is a big bonus. We met the housekeeper on arrival. She was very helpful and the place was spotless.

We like to use this condo when we go into Waikiki for a fun day or evening.

Why they chose this property

I like to boogie board at the wall, just 1/2 block away where no surfboards are allowed. The location of this condo is terrific because it has easy access off of the freeway and down Kapahulu. You don't have to go into the heart of Waikiki with all the traffic to get to it.

What makes this property unique

The condo feels like a home and not a hotel. It is a fairly small building with some full time occupants. I hardly ever see anyone on the elevator. The building is well maintained and Lemon Road is a small one lane street with no city bus noise!
