John was a wonderful host. Kept us up to date with good communication. Check in was straightforward and the villa was comfortable and clean. We loved the pool and the setting of the villa. Very peaceful and close to a couple of cafes and restaurants. John helped with personal recommendations and we tried a few of his suggestions. Lovely area and close to L’Arenal beach and supermarkets. Would like to return. Many thanks.

We had a fantastic vacation in this beautiful villa. The villa had everything that we needed for a family of five with two teenagers and an 11 year old. The cleaning was spotless and the beds comfortable. We had quite a few movie nights with the kids in the comfy sofas. However, the most amazing part about this place is without a doubt the outside area with the heated pool and the BBQ-area. This is where we spent most of our time. Also, the owner was really kind and helpful. We can highly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay here again.

We had a great week at John’s villa. The outside area especially is great, better than we ever had before as it has a nice big pool which is close to the villa itself with plenty of seating/loungers and shade. The villa itself was lovely with comfortable beds & air con in all main rooms/bedrooms.

Family holiday

Nice property in convenient location. Some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating, but it was clean, the owner was very approachable and helpful. We had a fabulous holiday and would stay there again.

So sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I refer to your "Some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating" comment. As you may or may not be aware. This is a typically Spanish built and styled villa both inside and outside and as such I am assuming your comment is with regard to the traditional internal timber kitchen door, bedroom doors and timber bed headboards. I take such comments very seriously and, if necessary, would address them to ensure improvements are made. Especially as you say, "would stay there again".

Attractive and comfortable

The property is very attractive both inside and out with a lovely garden and pool and an outside dining area with barbecue. It benefited from having the friendly owner living nearby - any needs were promptly met and a steady flow of suggestions for excursions and restaurants was forthcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed both the house and the area.

Just returned from 12 fantastic days at this villa. We travelled as a family of 3 generations and was great for all. The location of the villa is great with a few restaurants within walking distance if desired. The heated pool was amazing, a lovely 29 degrees each day which made our little boy very happy. The villa is well equipped and the views from the bedrooms in the morning is stunning. John the host was great, met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed and gave some recommendations for food and drink locally. Overall a wonderful villa and host and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thankyou for sharing your villa with us.

perfect villa with heated pool

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. The heated pool was very comfortable while the outside temperatures weren't that high yet. We had our daily breakfast on the outside patio in the nice garden. The location was perfect to visit the nearby beaches and the town of Javea. John is a fantastic host, who gave us nice advice of the must visits in the neighborhood.

VRBO in Spain

Our host John was spectacular He went out of his way to point us in the right direction for food, wine and attractions. Including make a reservation for us one evening. The house was exactly as the pictures showed and there was plenty of excellent choices of restaurants within walking distances. We would highly recommend this location for anybody looking for a relaxing Spain holiday.

Great return visit to Javea after 16 years.

John's villa has a fantastic outdoor area and pool, everything we were lookin for and better than we had expected. The villa is fully equipped and a great base for us to visit some of our old haunts in the area. John provided excellent information on the area and where to eat. We visited a couple of his recommendations and were not disappointed. The area around the villa has several restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely villa in a peaceful location

Communication with the owner was very efficient and the check in process smooth. The villa is in a lovely quiet location but still within walking distance of various local restaurants. It was a short drive to a couple of local beaches, and also Javea & Denia. The host provided some great recommendations. We payed to pay an extra €100 for the pool heating which meant it was a lovely temperature!
