What a wonderful experience! We felt very lucky to wake up to the beautiful view each morning!The owner was very communicative and appreciated the basic necessities we were able to use. And appreciated the story of the family and home. It made the trip a little more meaningful!

Special home in a special place. Outfitted with all the right stuff for cooking and playing for adults and kids. Wonderful views, private location and magical surroundings. You can’t help but be happy here. Hosts Angele and Mark were on top of all our inquiries and requests. It’s obvious they take a lot of pride in this home away from home and make it a comfortable spot to enjoy.

Angele and Mark provided the perfect place to stay for our group trip. Staying at their house is like staying with a family member or trusted friend; they have stocked everything they think you might need while you're there and give you detailed instructions on where to find it all if needed. There was a slight maintenance issue that popped up before our check in, which they handled very well, especially with communicating what was happening with our group. The house is comfortable, the views are gorgeous, and the hosts are excellent.

Really great home base for visit to the San Juan Islands. Home has everything a family of 6 needs to cook. We loved the fire pit, picking berries and digging for clams! Views were amazing, would very much recommend.

2025 Whidbey visit

We had a great time. I was very impressed with how neat, tidy and organized the house was. There was something to do for everyone and we enjoyed our time there. The master bed/bath had a different layout than we are accustomed to, but it worked out fine.

Annual Whidbey Crabbing Trip

As in the past, this home continues to put a smile on everyone’s stay. Loved the expanded view from the kitchen remodel. The kids and Grammy spent time on the beach. Again our families favorite vacation!

Beach Bliss!

We had a wonderful family beach weekend and this property was perfect for it! Plenty of room inside and out of the house to hang out in and have fun! Beautiful property

We didn't spend a lot of time at the property because we were in town for a family event, but we loved it so much that we are already planning our next trip to Washington and this property is were everyone wants to stay. it was clean and comfortable and the view from the deck on the back is incredible. I'd highly recommend!!

Beautiful Location

Great location, house is right on the beach. The beach was sandy and had tons of driftwood for building forts and walking on logs. House was really clean and comfortable and the checkin and out process was very easy. We will definitely book again in the future! Thanks for an awesome weekend!

Amazing location!

We were on Whidbey Island for a wedding just a mile or so away from this house. We all loved the location, the access to the beach, and the wildlife. The bunnies were plentiful, as were the bald eagles. We even saw a whale one morning! The house is well stocked and perfectly clean, and the owners were friendly and responsive. If I were to travel back to Whidbey again, this is where I'd plan to stay!

We took our six twenty-something kids and a grandbaby for a week of family vacation and we all absolutely loved it! The views never failed to impress. The kids canoed and loved the water. We loved having the gorgeous Strawberry Point hike within walking distance. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. The table was great for all of us to have family dinners. My 20 y.o. was over the moon over all the mid-century decor. I highly recommend!

Wonderful setting for family reunion!

We were a 3 generation group—4 adults, 2 seniors, 3 kids (1.5, 5, 11) and this was perfect for our group! Angele was very responsive, the setting was spectacular and the house had everything we needed. Something to do for everyone. We picked blackberries and made homemade jam, saw bald eagles and great glblue herons and kayaked in the sunset. Amazing and we hope to come back!

Loved our stay! Comfy beds, well stocked house with all the little bonus things (extra pillows/linens, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, food wrap, spices, kitchen staples…) plus all the big things. The view is gorgeous with lots of space to explore the beach. Easy access to Oak Harbor and Deception Pass. Owners were lovely and responded quickly to questions. Highly recommend!
