Detached Cotswold Stone Coach House

Built in the 1850's this 1-bed detached coach house was restored and refurbished in 2012. With it's own private entrance the house has been furnished with everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay.

The Coach House is a refurbished 1 bedroom cottage in the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham. With a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, comfortable lounge, shower room and upstairs bedroom, this quiet location will ensure you have a good nights rest.

The Coach House is located in the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham and is 2 min walk to The Bath Road with many shops, restaurants and bars. It is a lovely 10 minute walk to The Suffolks, 15 minutes to Montpellier Gardens and 5 more minutes to Imperial Gardens and The P️romenade, the main shopping area in Cheltenham. You can easily get around without a car.

For business users we are 12 minutes from J11 of the M5, 10 minutes drive to GCHQ and can offer special rates for midweek business use. For extended Monday-Friday stays luggage storage available over the weekend.

Whilst The Coach House does not have designated parking it is located in a residential area with free road side parking available. The entrance gate is located on a single country lane accessible by car for loading/unloading.

Cozy rental

The coach house was exactly as shown on the listing. The house was well equipped and we appreciated all the extras provided. We would recommend the property for its location to shops, restaurants and parks. Beth was great to deal with when we couldn’t figure out the heating (which we blame on 2. 2 senior citizens with jet lag) Overall we had a great stay.

Great home base from which to explore Cotswolds

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. We would spend the day exploring and then come back at the end of the day to a peaceful and very comfortable environment. Beth has created an environment which is very welcoming to her guests. All the added touches were appreciated, including the variety of treats and the books and information on the area. The Coach House is a perfect place for a couple to retreat to after a wonderful day out on Cheltenham and surrounds.Close to restaurants, cafes, pubs and groceries only minutes away. Quaint, and beautifully appointed, the Coach House offers everything needed for a lovely stay. The best however are the little things that Beth the host has really thought about... organic milk for a cuppa, hot chocolate, a supply of chocolates ( which were wonderful on our hikes), bottled water, makeup wipes, clothes pods etc. Would highly recommend.

As Advertised.

Cosy, but everything needed for a comfortable stay, with lots of thoughtful extras. Needing a quiet bolthole for an unexpected trip to the UK, this was a perfect base. A short walk to the Bath Road for shops, pubs, coffeehouses and most needed supplies; a slightly longer walk to the Suffolk's, Montpellier and the city centre. Even walked to Waitrose, having been in Montana for 6 years and deprived of its delights!

The best host and the best property!

This property has been the best one I have stayed in! One week was not long enough and wish I could have stayed a month! Everything was perfect - from the first communication with Beth until the very last moment before I left. The Coach House is very centrally located in Cheltenham and as a solo traveler I felt very safe. The apartment is furnished with everything you could think of and super clean. Beth has thought of all kinds of details which makes this place feel like home. Such nice touches and so welcoming upon arrival to find milk and water in the fridge, cereal, teas, coffees, snacks, etc. Bed is super comfortable and there is a choice of pillows. Great shower and nice large towels. Weather warmed up a couple of days and it was wonderful to have a fan in the bedroom. The outside patio area is lovely too. The information binder has everything I needed to know about the apartment and also had great tips on shopping and eating places in the neighborhood (all within easy walking distance). There was also lots of information about what to do in the area. Check-in and check-out was super easy with a lockbox. Host had sent all the necessary information and more, prior to check-in. Beth was available as needed and was the best host ever. I didn't want to leave, and hope I get a chance to return soon! I highly recommend this property.

Ein wunderbarer Platz

Das Haus ist klein, aber sehr komfortabel und für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Die Lage in Cheltenham ist ideal für Ausflüge in die Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, das Wyetal oder Oxford. Das Haus liegt im Suffolkviertel einem sehr quirligen Stadteil mit vielen Pubs,Cafes,kleinen Läden und Biergärten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr aufmerksam und sorgt mit velen kleinen Annehmlichkeiten, wie Blumen, Süssigkeiten, Milch und Wasser für einen netten Empfang. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Haus nur weiter empfehlen.

The Coach House was the perfect spot for our trip to Cheltenham! Beth goes above and beyond to create a home away from home for her guests. We so appreciated the extra details, such as the comfy robes, the fresh flowers, the snacks and selection of teas and coffee, and suggestions for local restaurants and stores. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. It's a short walk to pubs and shops. We felt safe coming in at night with the lights that came on as we walked up the lane and entered the gate. Beth has truly thought of everything! Thank you for an incredible stay! We hope to be able to return someday.
