Goosehill Loft is a the perfect country retreat for a quick couple getaway, small family or group winery weekend. The modern loft is centrally located between several popular wineries and close to quaint historic town of Ste. Genevieve, MO. It rests on 31 acres of peaceful countryside with gorgeous pond view and rolling hills. The open room concept accommodates up to 4 -5 with queen bed, queen sofa sleeper, and window seat that can sleep one, TV, kitchenette with microwave, cook-top, mini-fridge, full bath. Ideal for a couple or small family. Conveniently located near local wineries, breweries, Hawn State Park, Waterparks and historic town of Ste. Genevieve. Small outside patio with gas grill option.

This room is located on the private second story with stairway entry only. The first floor is a private garage that is not part of the rental and is minimally accessed during your stay. Located only 13 miles from Ste. Genevieve and Coffman Wineries – perfect for couple retreats, wedding guests and small group getaways!

Great Stay!

The property was clean and a great view of the pond on site. The owner, Julie, was very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again for sure. We only stayed one night, but we wished we had stayed two tonights. We would loved to come back. I highly recommend this place. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

Great Location when visiting the area

Nice loft with a beautiful view of the pond outback. Centrally located between Ste. Genevieve and the surrounding wineries, we will definitely stay here again.

Quiet Country Luxury

Golf and Wine visit

My girlfriend and I loved the property, great location for a day trip to golf and visit the wineries!!! The property was just like it looked in the pictures, actually it was better. 10yr Anniversary Trip

This was a great spot for us to enjoy our 10yr anniversary! Very clean, peaceful and quiet. The view from the window seat is worth the cost, and everything else is bonus! Highly recommend utilizing the outside seating areas for a fantastic star show!

Beautiful property

The lift was well appointed, clean and great view of their open and spacious acreage. Relax by their pond or covered area with fire pit. Definitely a return destination. Just be ready for a hard mattress

Peaceful Sanctuary

We had the best weekend here. The location is quiet and secluded. It was great relaxing outside, enjoying the spectacular scenery, and watching the cattle on the other side of the pond. The hosts were super polite and we had everything we needed. The area is gorgeous!! We had a great time hiking at Hawn State Park, visiting the Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, and going to one of the local wineries. We will certainly be back.

A countryside het away

This country property is in a beautiful setting, over looking a pond. The inside was very clean, very modern and well designed. Like staying in a five star hotel. It has all the amenities of home. The evenings are very quiet. It is close enough to go into St. Genevieve for meals. We recommend this property.

Peaceful Retreat

I needed a quiet place for a few days of silent retreat and this was a perfect spot! I'll be back. It is very clean, beautiful, comfortable. The porch is a wonderful, relaxing space and even though the owner's house is next door, it is situated so you feel a sense of privacy. The family is super nice and Julie put me at ease immediately when she came to introduce herself, answered questions, and chatted for a few minutes. The setting is serene, with rolling hills, fields, the small lake. I spent a good deal of time in the window seat doing my reading/writing/reflecting and watching thunderstorms move through. The view is overlooking the lake, fields (with cows when in that particular pasture) and hills in the distance. They provide a lovely space, nicely decorated. If you are using this location for more than a few days, bring a cooler for ice; the small fridge is larger than dorm-size but the freezer is pretty small - I could store about 1/2 bad of ice but not much else would fit. It wasn't a big deal, but could be if you wanted to bring frozen meals. The kitchen was equipped with what I needed for making my meals. Location is amazing; not far from wineries, close enough to Ste. Genevieve for a quick drive for meals, site-seeing. I loved the quiet and peacefulness, which is exactly what was needed. Not having WiFi wasn't a big deal, if I needed access I used my phone as cell service was available. Queen sized bed I thought was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good, plenty of towels and supplies in the bathroom. Being in a rural environment I wasn't sure what to expect with regard to the taste of the water - they must have a water filtration system on the house or are on public water service as it tasted like what I'm used to in St. Louis. Julie shared that at night their cat sometimes sleeps on the couch that is outside on the porch; if you are allergic to cats you may want to bring a beach towel/sheet to put down before sitting on the couch so you don't come in contact with cat hair/dander or track it inside on your clothes. I'm not allergic to cats but my husband is, so when the two of us come to stay, we'll be prepared. I would highly recommend this location!
