We had a lot of crickets get in the house. The Barn was excellent but hard to get the Blackstone to lite.

Our home is older, of pier & beam construction that tends to settle & shift. This can definitely increase or decrease gaps around the doors which we do our best to mitigate. And, please know, we do have regular pest control service. But, sometimes, during certain years, the bug population, like crickets and even the love bugs, can explode! I don’t know how or why this happens but I do know that nature usually wins… Lol… As to the flat top grill, you’re the first to mention any issue with it at all. We’ll certainly take a look to see if we experience the same problem and make repairs if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Seadrift! The home was spacious, beautiful, very clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together.The private pier was a huge plus and made fishing incredibly convenient and we loved being able to walk right outside and fish whenever we wanted. We also really appreciated the extra space the barn provided, which was perfect for storing our gear and giving us even more room during our stay.The host was very responsive and helpful anytime we had a question, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay, especially for a fishing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the most Awesome place we have stayed yet. The comfortable beds, the decor, the MAN Cave, the view, the pier. It all came together perfectly for are annual Guy's fishing trip. we enjoyed are stay very much and hope to be back next year.

Perfect location for the fishy family or if you just want to day trip to the beaches, then retreat to quiet comfort of Seadrift. No need for a boat but even better because you can bring yours. Just around the corner from tailing redfish or grass lurking sea trout.

Another wonderful weekend stay

This is probably our 7th time to stay at this perfect place for a weekend get-a-way!! Always clean and comfy and just a great place to fish, relax and enjoy the company of good friends and cold drinks!!

The house was perfect for our stay. My wife and I brought our fishing kayaks for the trip but ended up fishing from the dock for most of our stay. The barn area is excellent for relaxing in the evening. We could not have asked for a better stay.
