Bustling downtown Asheville is only a ten-minute walk. There you will find over 65 eclectic and unique restaurants, independent shops, theaters, coffee and tea shops, and lastly, but not least, all of the independent micro breweries. Most of the breweries offer tours of their facilities, which has made Asheville known as “Beer City USA”. Come see why Asheville has often been referred to as “The Paris of The South”. If you enjoy architecture Asheville has many historic buildings and churches with some very unique features like the Grove Arcade, St. Lawrence Basilica, S&W Building, and Woolworth building with the original soda fountain counter still serving sandwiches and milk shakes. There are many day trips too. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a ten-minute drive away. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, where the movies Dirty Dancing and Last of the Mohicans were filmed, are a few “must sees”. Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Hot Springs, Brevard, and Waynesville are some other unique mountain towns. If you are in to hiking, biking or simply going on a leisure stroll, there are many trails, state parks, waterfalls, and rivers for tubing, kayaking, and white water rafting.

The Biltmore Estate is only a ten minute drive from the house. It is the largest privately owned estate in North America and has it’s own winery. Enjoy the tours, restaurants, shopping, and of course, the French Chateau style home built by George W. Vanderbilt.

Whatever your reason to visit Asheville, you will never be short on anything to do, even if it’s absolutely nothing. Our home provides a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to start. Welcome home!

Great house and location!
My wife and I had an excellent stay with our dogs. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood that's walking distance to downtown but also has some great options for food/drinks right in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Stop looking elsewhere....Your next HomeAway stay in Asheville is right here!
My husband and I were fortunate enough to rent this charming, well renovated 1920's bungalow within walking distance of downtown Asheville with its many restaurants, bars and the U.S Cellular Center for spectacular live events. There was also the YMCA, yoga studio, and kid/pet friendly Montford Park along with the Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Harris Teeter that are all right down the street ....Not to mention the Blue Ridge Parkway being steps away as well. The owners of the property are sincerely some of the friendliest and most caring people we have ever met. The whole house was fully stocked with bed/bath linens and every amenity necessary to move right in (from Cable and Wi-Fi to the Pots and Pans)! The second room was ideal for when guest visited and the private off road parking around back was a major plus too. We could not have asked to rent a better home in a better location in the Asheville area and thanks to the owners for making our extended stay so care free! We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again in the future!

Summer in Asheville
My two toy poodles and I spent a month in Asheville this summer. We really enjoyed the Monford historic district and the convenience of being able to walk to town. The bungalow was cute and comfortable, just perfect for us. Mark and Scott were very quick to address any calls or concerns and I would definitely like to stay there again next year.

Adorable cottage close to downtown
Great location, spotlessly clean and very charming bungalow, ten minute walk to downtown. House has everything you need for a perfect stay in Asheville. Proximity to Trader Joe's/Whole Foods and a well-appointed kitchen even made me want to cook, which I don't do very often, even in my own kitchen! Mark and Scott are excellent hosts and instantly made me feel at home. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute and comfortable stay in Asheville.
