Tabel was small. Not enough glasses and dishes so you have to wash them every time. Appartment was very clean. No toilet paper in reserve. No salt and pepper or oil.

This guest broke the fitted wardrobe door in the bedroom and didn't bother to tell us, we found it after she left. Ive sent her an invoice but she hasn't bothered to pay or apologise.
she also left all her food rubbish in the kitchen bin and left large cardboard boxes for us to have to dispose of, and didn't clean the property on exit.

A lovely modern property but requires a few improvements
A lovely, small but perfectly formed property but requires a few improvements. It was clean but not spotless. The balcony was in need of a good sweep and the balcony furniture was tired with paint pealing off. The pillows were hard and thin and the bed mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. The property is also located very close to the busy Sheffield to Manchester main line so nosy trains are passing regularly and throughout the night. This coupled with planes flying over on their approach to Manchester airport made it a rather noisy location. The shower wasnt working which was also a little inconvenient and although this is mentioned in the property details, I don't recall it being the case when I made the booking. Parking is also on a narrow country lane and although it's not overly busy, large farm traffic does pass which could be a problem to people with big cars.

There is a problem with the shower and it has been in the details for sometime and defiantly before you made your booking.
We are not in a flight path and the trains stop running before 12 their may be an occasional goods train that will go through in the night.
This is High Peak countrysde with quiet roads and lanes, our lane is a no through route narrow compared to city roads but definitely wide enough to accommodate any car.
Thank you
The property is ideal for two people and was spotless! When I visited the shower was out of order but there is a bath so it wasn't an issue. The people in the village are friendly and theres a shop and two takeaways plus a cafe -bar
Had a peaceful couple of nights’ stay visiting family in the area. Owner was friendly and welcoming, and property is modern, warm, well-equipped, clean and comfortable.
I had missed the detail about the shower being out of order (it needs building work to fix unfortunately) when booking. There also isn’t WiFi but the 4G signal is very good.
Owner does ask that you leave the place clean and dispose of rubbish, either in bins or (for boxes) at Tesco a 5-min drive away. Cleaning stuff provided but, as is normal with self-catering, bring your own loo roll if staying more than a couple of nights.
I hope the shower gets fixed, as I would definitely come again.

Lovely modern, comfortable accommodation
This property was a great place to stay as a base for exploring the Peak District. Property was clean, spacious, well equipped and nice and welcoming. The owner was very helpful on arrival. They recommended the Old Hall Inn for food, just 10 mins walk away - I went and had the best meal I’ve ever had! I highly recommend it! And I recommend Ashlea as a great place to stay.
