This spacious converted barn is in countryside on the edge of the Dartmoor village of Manaton and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

The Water Barn is a roomy cottage converted from a Devon barn in the Dartmoor village of Manaton. The cottage sleeps four people in a double bedroom and twin bedroom with family bathroom. On the top floor is an open-plan living/dining/kitchen. Outside is a beautiful natural garden with furniture and barbecue and off road parking for two cars. Woodland and moorland walks from the door and 400 yards to a pub. The Water Barn is a peaceful retreat for exploring the Dartmoor National Park

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Lustleigh is a picture postcard village set on the deep wooded slopes of eastern Dartmoor and within Dartmoor National Park. With a pretty church, village shop and excellent pub along with lots of thatch cottages you can see why Lustleigh made it to the Telegraph's top villages.

Lovely Barn

The barn was very well kitted out, it had every kitchen utensil you need. Very dog friendly with a lovely enclosed garden. The bed was sooooo comfortable and it had a great shower, which is not always the case in holiday rentals. The location was perfect if you want to get away for some peace and quiet and had access to lots of walks and there was a local pub at the bottom of the lane which did nice food and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return to Water Barn.
