Great place for our short stay and conveniently located to many attractions/downtown.Host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again!
Lovely basement apartment with an ideal location. Clean, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with all the essentials you may need while traveling. Teresa was a great host and communicated quickly (from booking until the end of our visit).
Very cute, comfy 2 bedroom stay. Basement level but plenty of windows and light (just a somewhat low ceiling so I'm glad my 6'3" hubby wasn't with me). Kitchen is small but we didn't cook so it didn't matter. Convenient location, great coffee shop/eatery (Baskette) within walking distance. Parking is tight but doable.
The house was wonderful, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, convenient location. The host was great and very communicative throughout our stay. Parking is a little tight if both spots are in use.
This was a very clean and well stocked duplex. All the utensils and dishes you could need are there. Fridge and microwave are adequate and the coffee maker works well.
Stay was exactly what we were expecting. Listing is accurate. Rooms/beds were comfortable. Neighborhood and upstairs renters were quiet. Having a designated parking spot was great. Washer/dryer was good to have as well. Host was easy to reach if needed. Nightly rate was good compared to similar listings. Would stay there again.
There are 2 reasons For not giving this property 5 stars:1. The on site parking is very tight if you have a large vehicle. We were in a Toyota Highlander and it was difficult parking between another guests car and the garage. The parking spot is off the alley, which is tight, and you have to contend with garbage cans and a low wall, as well as other residences cars.2. There were guests in the upstairs property who stomped around like a herd of buffaloes. They argued quite a bit and we could hear it all.*If you are a very tall man, or woman, the low ceiling in the downstairs property might be a bit of a problem.Otherwise this is a great property located near many attractions and restaurants.
We had a lovely time in Seattle! The location was an easy bus ride to King Station and downtown Seattle and close to plenty of bars, restaurants, and cute shops.Our host checked to make sure we were able to get in easily and see if we needed anything. Very friendly.
Everything from this house was great from location to the host being amazing,Teresa was checking on us the whole time to ensure our stay was great and it was we will be using this property in the future no doubt

City Haven III was built in response to the positive feedback we received from the original City Haven (vrbo Listing 585829) which is located right next door and upper unit of this home (vrbo listing 741854).
These homes are part of a love story that started back in 2004 when I purchased this house. The following year, my now husband moved from New York and bought the house next door. When we met, I asked him to move his garbage cans out of my driveway. But soon I started asking him to salsa dancing. And then he asked me to dinner. We fell in love! The man who bought the house next door married the girl next door (me!). Two kids and a few years later, we kept the homes a rentals and moved a few blocks North.
I left my job at Microsoft and we started buffing, remodeling, scraping and decorating these homes we've come to love. City Haven III is the result of a recent remodel that's turned this old 1920's Craftsman into a modern beauty with period charm.
We're Team Simon and our whole family works to make this a place you'll love to call home for a while. We love it! And we hope you'll love it, too.
Why they chose this property
We bought this home for the same reason you'll want to stay here.... close to Green Lake (swimming, paddle boats, golf)! Close to the Zoo (animals, outdoor summer concerts)! Grocery store 3 blocks away (last minute wine and snacks)! Right next to the express bus to downtown and close to all the great restaurants in Fremont (cook, schmook... let's go out to eat)! It's the perfect centralized hub to live like a local while still being close to everything the downtown area has to offer. Home away from home!
