Our picturesque holiday home is located in a quaint pedestrianised cobbled street in the very heart of historic St Andrews. It is within a few steps of the University, Cathedral, coast and a nearby array of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars - not to mention a Sainsbury’s grocery store. The famous Old Course is also within a convenient 5 minute stroll.
The property itself dates back to the 1800’s but has been completely refurbished and moderised to a high standard and has an exquisite BBQ/outdoor dining area in its own private secluded courtyard.
The property is equipped to the highest standard with high-speed fibre broadband, international satellite 4HD entertainment and Sonos sound system. Within the compact kitchen there are all the usual requirements including dishwasher, microwave, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, washer/dryer etc.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom and patio doors onto the private patio. The second bedroom adjoins a bath/shower room and can be configured as twin beds or a kingsize double - just advise on booking. The beds are all prepared with fine Egyptian cotton bedding. A fifth member of the party can be accommodated in the sofabed in the livingroom again with double patio doors leading out to the courtyard with dining facilities.

Has to be one of the cleanest Vrbos we have ever stayed at throughout our travels! Great host, location, and had all the amenities we needed. Will definitely stay there again when we come back to visit.
We lived our stay here- the space is really bright and well designed. Both bedrooms are lovely with comfy beds etc and the is a great courtyard too. Property is walking distance to everythin!Graham our host was really helpful and communicative.. hope to stay again.
Perfect spot to explore St Andrews and also just stay in and relax. Super clean, convenient and everything perfectly thought out to make stay enjoyable.
This us by far one of the best properties we've ever stayed at. The location was perfect and the amenities excellent. I highly recommend staying here and when we return to golf at St. ANDREW'S I will stay here again.
Graham’s place couldn’t be more perfect. He’s thought of everything, even down to extra batteries for the TV remotes. The location is ideal for enjoying the shops and the golf courses.
We had an excellent stay at the Bolthole. The property was well maintained with great amenities, and its location was convenient to Market Street, the Old Course, and St Andrews University. Graham was a helpful host. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!!

The Bolthole was exactly what we wanted for our visit to St. Andrews!
The amenities of the property, the cleanliness, and the location were great! The property is well appointed, met all of our needs, was very clean, and is exactly as pictured in the VRBO listing. The location of the Bolthole is perfect for golfers…a relatively short walk to the St. Andrews Links golf courses. Also, many nice pubs/restaurants and shops nearby; as well as other sights like the University of St. Andrews, St. Andrews Castle, etc. Already looking forward to a return visit!

We try to offer maximum flexibility with arrival/departure - a small key store is located outside allowing access to the keys at your convenience.
The house is first and foremost a holiday home for our family who live in the city of Aberdeen and it is furnished and equipped accordingly to a very high standard.
All going smoothly, everything in the property should be self explanatory or contained in the information booklet. However should there be any queries or problems we can be contacted 24 hrs a day and there is a lady in St Andrews available on call to sort out any problems requiring immediate assistance.

Our family and guests enjoy the property because of its historic and quaint location in the heart of the historic town with all amenities nearby (local Sainsbury grocery store within 30 yds!) yet the property benefits from being modern and luxurious.

The property has all the latest technology - high speed fibre broadband, 4G HDR Ultra satellite TV with over 200 channels, Sonos sound system and fully equipped kitchen. But the real special feature of the property is the unique secluded patio area with BBQ and latest bio-fuel outdoor fireplace where many a late night drink can be enjoyed!
