Come relax on a balcony and enjoy our stunning sea views at Yellow Sands. Our 4 star apartment with balcony over looking the beach is located just 200 meters from Harlyn Bay a superb sandy beach and the coastal footpath. Harlyn Bay is renowned for safe bathing and good surfing conditions with golden sands, rock pools to explore and wonderful cliff top walks along the coastal path in both directions - especially beautiful in spring and early summer when fringed with wild flowers. Over the years Yellow Sands has welcomed back many families and couples for their annual summer and seasonal breaks.
We hope to welcome you here sometime too!

The accommodation comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite shower washbasin and toilet; Twin single bedroom; separate lounge with Ercol furniture, TV, DVD and CD. Separate kitchen/dining room including built in oven/hob, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave etc. and family bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Plus wi-fi and on-site parking for one car, communal lawn area with tables chairs and sun lounges and a children’s play area.

Padstow is only 3 miles away. Built around a cove on the River Camel Estuary it has grown over centuries into a picturesque fishing harbour town with lots to tell in terms of history and custom. Great location and property.

Excellent property right next to beach. Decent size and condition. Slight shame its behind the building site that used to be the Haylrn inn, but that didnt really impact us, and the noise was minimal.

A beautiful property in a fabulous location, the property was spotlessly clean, Martin was extremely helpful and the views in the apartment were stunning, only a 5 minute walk to Harlyn beach made our holiday perfect. We hope to stay again very soon. 😊

Great apartment with beautiful sea views.

We have just returned home after a wonderful week in apartment 4 at Yellow Sands. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, light and airy and came with everything we needed for a self catering holiday. The sea views from the huge windows in the lounge and kitchen were stunning. The apartments share a garden area and even a small childrens play area which was appreciated by our 2 young daughters and the fabulous beach at Harlyn bay is only a short walk away. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Really recommend this apartment - we will definitely be back!

Light, spacious apartment with great view

We stayed in apartment 4 for a week at the beginning of April (2 adults, 1 child). The apartment was in a fabulous location, just a short walk to Harlyn bay. The rooms were a decent size with big windows facing out towards the bay so we could check the surf from the lounge window before heading to the beach! The apartment felt very light and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay (although it would’ve been great to have towels provided). Also a really great location for getting around north Cornwall, some great restaurants just up the road in St Merryn.

The hosts were lovely. They were friendly and answered all our questions about the location, taxis places to visit etc. The apartment was in a stunning location. It was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you needed. Without a doubt the best self catering property we have ever used. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a place. Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful experience for my 50 birthday 😁

Amazing apartment close to fantastic beach

We recently spent a week in this fantastic apartment with our two children (9yr &14yr), and would highly recommend it. Views really are stunning, and apartment very clean and tidy. Easy, short walk access to the beach, ideal for our kids to enjoy their first 'surfing' holiday! Also easy access to stunning cliff top walks to other beaches and cafes, and only 5-10min drive to Padstow. Martin and Debbie were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. Already can't wait to go back!

Excellent apartment

The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable with open views. The owner met us on arrival and gave full information of facilities and the area in general. The local pub is very convenient for meals. The beach is beautiful and a very short walk away. I would recommend staying here but come equipped as there are no local food shops until the next village.

Yellow Sands Harlyn Bay, Cornwall-Sharmalyn House

We found the property presented in a very clean and tidy state. This property offers tremendous space for extended family to spend time together. The listing was accurate, the house offered everything we expected and more. It was very well equipped with dishwasher and utility room. The downstairs shower off utility room was ideal for a shower after returning from beach. The bedrooms are generous and en-suite and bathroom facilities plentiful. Available wIfi and bed linen were welcome additions. Customer service from booking to leaving first class. I would recommend this property, it is located in an excellent location in quiet area with stunning sea views and a wonderful rural sheltered terrace overlooking fields. Short walk to wonderful surfing beach with life guard. Padstow 5 mins by car. Took an enjoyable sea fishing trip and a must is a speed boat ride from the harbour in the camel Estuary. I will certainly be booking a return holiday.

Great sea view. Clean and well-equipped apartment.

We had a wonderful long, weekend break at the Yellow Sands apartment. The location is fabulous overlooking the stunning Harlyn Bay. We enjoyed relaxing strolls on the beach, walking the cliff path to Padstow and danced the night away to a great band at the Harlyn Bay Pub. The apartment is a five minute drive from Padstow and the Camel trail. I have been visiting the Harlyn Bay area for many years and my friends are now also smitten. We would all love to stay at the apartment again as it was very good value for money and would recommend Yellow Sands to others. Thank you to owners, Martin and Debbie.
