Landing beach "Sword Beach", seaside, wooden chalet with TANDEM.

Perfectly isolated wooden chalet 120 meters from the sea, access to the seafront by a private road with no road to cross.

For your comfort, the housekeeping of the chalet is impeccable. It is located on the landing beaches : "SWORD BEACH".

Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided.

Fully equipped kitchen : dishwasher, combined oven, extractor and fridge, numerous kitchen utensils.

Reading corner with small library on the theme of Normandy, horses and the landing, several board games.

Bathroom with shower, heated towel rail and hair dryer.

Very high speed internet connection with optical fiber, free wifi, HD screen television.

Private and enclosed garden, with table, chairs, parasol and two deckchairs.

Included in the rental a TANDEM bike to ride on the seaside on the bike paths.

All shops at 400 meters : Bakeries, supermarket, restaurants and beach bars.

Minimum rental for 2 nights, all year round and weekly from Saturday to Saturday in June/July/August/September.

The chalet is non-smoking.

Animals are not allowed.

You can bring your bikes but it is not possible to store them in the chalet.

Nettes Blockhäuschen, sauber und ordentlich

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und freundlich, ein bisschen nervig war das Abhaken einer Bestandsliste in französisch, die einige zig Dinge, vom Löffel über Teller und Spezialgeräten, deren Bezeichnungen wir mangels guter Französischkenntnisse übersetzen mussten, bis zu einer Reihe einzelner Bücher. Der Vermieter war damit aber dann nicht sehr pingelig, vielleicht haben wir das zu ernst genommen (deutsch halt). Gut ausgestattete Küche und Bad. Bett war leider, obwohl nicht schlecht, für große Personen (1,95) zu klein/kurz, für uns nicht sehr bequem, aber da kann der Vermieter auch nicht zu. Der an sich schöne, große Gartenbereich mit bequemen Liegestühlen war nur mit einem Maschendrahtzaun umgeben, der keinerlei Sichtschutz nach außen bot. Es war eine abgelegene Ecke, wo kaum Leute vorbeikamen, aber das Wohlgefühl wäre mit Sichtschutz(matten) größer. Der Ort war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Rad- und Autotouren in viele nette Örtchen, wie Trouville/Deauville, Bayeux, Caen, Cabourg, sowie die vielen Schauplätze und Gedenkstätten des D-Day und die Soldatenfriedhöfe, die dort überall gegenwärtig sind. Das Meer war vom Haustor aus zu sehen, war sehr „naturbelassen“, was man auch stark riechen konnte. Aber andererseits ist das halt die etwas rauhe Natur, die man in der Normandie eben erlebt. Zum Strandlaufen toll. Gute Gegend zum Fisch- und Meeresfrüchte essen. Sehr schön waren Fahrradtouren entlang der Küste und entlang der Orne, an der ein Fahrradweg bis tief ins Land verläuft.

C'est une location avec des équipements et matériels récents. Elle est très bien entretenue. Elle est très calme du fait d'être sur une allée privée à mi chemin du passage maritime piétonnier et de la route principale. Nous avons passé une bonne semaine.

Escape estivale en Normandie à recommander !

Chalet en tout point conforme à description. Très bien situé pour profiter des côtes et des nombreuses visites pour qui s'intéresse au D-Day. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und wunderbar ruhig, die Nähe zum Meer perfekt. Durch Ebbe und Flut gibt es am Strand immer wieder neues zu entdecken. Durch die D-Day-Strände erfährt man viel geschichtliches. Interessante Städte wie Le Havre oder Bayeux sind schnell erreicht. Im Ort gibt es Restaurants, Bäcker und Supermarkt.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Das kleine Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet und die Lage direkt am Strand toll. In der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker sowie einige gute Restaurants. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Der Vermieter ist vor Ort und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Urlaub in der Normandie sehr genossen.

Perfect small space less than one minute from the sea

The cabin is ideal for a vacation to visit Normandy and it's coast. The accommodation is extremely clean and well equipped. There is a supermarket, bakery, and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking distance. D-say sights, Bayeux, beaches, and plenty of farm shops to explore within 45 minute drive. Plus bonus of access to a tandem bicycle for a leisurely cycle along the seafront cycle path! A very relaxing place to stay, and area to visit.

Nie so eine saubere Unterkunft gehabt! Tadellos! Für 2 Personen perfekt. Alles vorhanden, evtl. auch mal für 3-4 geeignet. Ruhig, nah am Meer, freundliche Eigentümer. Wohnen nebenan. Vielleicht wären ein paar Aufleger für die Gartenstühle nicht schlecht. SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT! @ Fewo-direkt: nehmt euch an diesem Objekt ein Beispiel, nicht so wie voriges Jahr, da war alles verdreckt.
