About this property
Ref 106) Altea La Nova, apartment, 6 persons nice view, close to village and sea
Altea La Nova, luxury apartment, 6 person nice view.
REF: 106. A large apartment with 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms one with walk-in shower, living room and enormous 40 square meters terrace with glass curtain and a huge view, two swimming pools, lifeguard, fast WiFi internet, complete privacy and all luxuries you can wish for.
Located just above the Don Cayo golf course in Altea (la Vella) with sea and mountain view in one of the most prestigious parts of Spain.
Close to golf, tennis, beach, town, hiking, harbor, water sports, amusement parks and many more.
From here you drive in no time to towns like: Moraira, Javea, Calpe, Benidorm, Albir.
Altea is without doubt one of the most charming towns to be found on Spain's 'White Coast', located in the region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. The town is just 11 kilometers north of Benidorm, yet the two resorts are worlds apart. Altea is similar to other Costa Blanca towns in that it has a new and old neighborhood. The old section is perched on top of a hill from where you will find really spectacular views.
Although the resort of Altea is less than 10 miles from Benidorm, the two resorts could not be more different. Altea is a relaxing holiday destination with historic buildings, cobbled streets, a beautiful church and a number of typically Spanish shops, restaurants and cafes.
The resort of Altea Hills is perched on a mountain side and provides breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the old town of Altea, and on a clear day you can see the Alicante skyline which is around 45 miles away. From Altea Hills you can be on the beach within just a few minutes by car. The properties in the area range from luxurious villas that are worth several million euros, to more standard two and three-bedroom apartments. Things to do and places to visit in Altea.
Altea has many attractions and you will not be stuck for things to do. The resplendent church of Nuestra Senora Del Consuelo was built in 1910 and it is a splendid example of a Mediterranean church with hand-painted, sea blue mosaic tiles.
The shopping precinct of Altea is very quaint and old-style Spanish. The shops usually open between 10 AM and 9 PM, but many shop owners will adhere to the custom of taking a siesta during the hot months, and therefore will close between 2 and 4 PM.
The best way to get round Altea is on foot, as this way you can see the delightful old buildings on the cobbled streets that would be missed if you were traveling by car. You can also take a mountain walking tour with one or several companies that specialize in guided tours.
In the main square of Altea there is a fascinating bohemian market where local craftspeople, artists and other sellers sell unique items between the months of April and September.
Golfers will find the Altea Golf Club to be on par with other top golf courses in Spain; therefore Altea is a popular destination with golfers from all over Europe.
Although Altea has plenty of traditional bars and restaurants, and you can enjoy a different location every night or your holiday if you wish, the nightlife is nowhere near as lively as in neighboring Benidorm. However, as Benidorm is located less than 10 miles away you can easily take a taxi from your Altea accommodation if you want to stay out until the early hours.
Don Cayo golf is a mountain course you won't forget with every time a different approach plus a good restaurant.
TERRA MITICA
Discover all that hidden on the Mediterranean shores. Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Islands, thousands of years converted into moments of fun emotion and adrenalin. You will find so many rides that you won't have enough breath to do them all. This is the largest theme park on the coast with excitement for all ages. A spectacular day out that must not be missed!
TERRA NATURA
Experience an exciting journey through one of Europe's biggest and most fascinating nature parks where you can see about 1,500 animals from all over the world. Then cool off at Terra Natura's Water Park.
AQUALANDIA
This is the largest water park in Europe. It offers fun and excitement including the famous Kamikaze slide for those dare devils, travel at great speed and enjoy the splash at the end. You can also enjoy a more sedate swim in the lazy river or enjoy one of the many restaurants and bars. Aqualandia offers something for every age group.
MUNDOMAR
A tropical paradise and exotic marine park - including the Dolphin Experience.
Other activities in the area include boat trips along the coast from Altea to Benidorm and Calpe, a Jeep Safari in 4 X 4's exploring the surrounding mountains and valleys, the Medieval Nights (including jousts on horseback) in the nearby castle of the Count of Alfaz and the unforgettable gala evenings at Benidorm Palace (Benidorm's equivalent or Cesar's Palace in Las Vegas).
