Our small family running hotel is located in a pretty town of Spartia, which is on the south-west coast of Kefalonia.

There are lovely studios and 2 bedroom apartments. Recently renovated, the rooms are decorated in pastel colours and look very nice. Each has a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.

By this listing we offer a STUDIO with a double bed. In the studio, you will find a kitchenette with refrigerator, compact kitchen plate with 3 ring and mini-oven. There also is a closet, bathroom with WC/sink/shower and a balcony.

The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful, well-tended garden, where depending on the season our guests can enjoy oranges, plums, figs, and peaches. For tea, you can always rip a fresh lemon from a tree growing right there.

Time to time, we like to indulge the guests with homemade marmalade, eggs from our hens, freshly caught fish, and lovingly cooked hot dish.

We do our best to create a friendly, homely atmosphere and share our warmth and we are very happy that people gladly come back here year after year.

The beach of Termanti is about 800 m away. The main beach of Spartia is about 950 km away. A part of the road goes along the slope, so returning from the beach to the hotel can be somewhat tiresome. We think, it is necessary to have a car allowing you to reach the beaches in just 3-5 minutes.

Down below, you will find three taverns by the sea, where you can have breakfast, supper, and lunch.

The center of Spartia with a mini market and tavern is one kilometer away. The products and goods you need can be also ordered by phone, delivery is for free.

The nearest beaches - Termanti, Klimatsias, Ema, and Pessada are incredibly picturesque and original. They can boast of gentle sand, rocky ledges for diving as well as beautiful underwater grottoes.

Spartia is a quiet, small, pretty town. Hotels and villas are mixed here with small houses of local residents, which creates a special atmosphere - incredibly pleasant and warm. Slowly wandering along the evening streets of the town you seem to find yourself in another world - a cozy, hospitable, shrouded silence and the most delicate fragrance of herbs, the sea, and flowering shrubs.

Charming stay in the real Kefalonia

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. They were there if you needed them at any time and were able to help with advice about the local area. The location was rural and peaceful giving you a flavour of the real island life. Thanks to the whole family for a wonderful holiday experience!

We were spoilt by our amazing host Katerina and her daughter Angela from start to finish of our two weeks stay in Maria’s Studio in Spartia. Can’t recommend this place enough. The place is very authentic Greek. Set in rustic gardens of olive trees and native plants. We were collected from/dropped off at the airport by Angela and Katerina who both did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible without intruding on us in any way.In fact we liked it all so much we are planning to go back next year!Lovely quiet sandy beach near by. Lovely restaurants. Lovely people. Lovely island. Highly recommended!

Katerina & Angela were amazing. Booking was so easy, katerina sorted a hire car for us & Angela even picked us up from the Airport, both were so lovely & welcoming.Our room was just as described surrounded by lovely garden. Mosquito net on balcony door & plug in deterrent provided . We arrived to find beautiful homemade courgette pie & fresh marmalade, bread, cheese, milk, butter, fruit, water, juice, coffee, tea & sugar and more!! We were also left some melon halfway through our week!!!We were advised to hire a car for the full week which is necessary to get around, but we did walk up to the restarant 'Cava Liakas' a few times, its a 15-20 mins walk up hill..... and we also walked once down to the bar above the beach with fabulous views over the sea & cove.... its 15-20 uphill on the way back but worth the views.... you may prefer to go by car .We loved Trapezaki beach 20 for beds & parasol but beautiful sandy beach with bar but the beach down the hill was popular too.There is so much to see in the area & lovely Katerina is there to help with anything you may need.A beautiful place to stay..... thank you Katerina

il soggiorno a cefalonia e' stato fantastico Katerina e Angela sono due persone gentilissime disponibili . ci hanno trattato veramente bene dall'arrivo alla ns partenza dove ci hanno lasciato la casa fino al pomeriggio che non siamo partiti lasciandoci la possibilità di passare ancora una giornata al mare.oltre questo ci hanno fatto trovare al ns arrivo un buonissimo pranzo e un frigo con le prime necessità. ci hanno fatto assaggiare la frutta del loro orto uva e fichi buonissimi ottimi pomodori. la casa ben accessiorata per cucinare .che dire grazie katerina grazie angela siete delle persone impagabili.

True Greek Hospitality

What a wonderful time we had at "Maria's Studios" owned and run by Katerina, Angela and their family. Their hospitality is second to none and the little touches and food gifts made our stay in this lovely typical little Greek apartment all the better. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and set in a pretty garden. The quiet village of Sparti is a short ten minute walk away and the quiet little local beach is again a short walk away. We absolutely loved it here and would definitely recommend and hopefully return one day. Thank you once again. Teresa and David

Amazing vacation

Maria's Studios Apartments are like a heaven. When we flew to Kefalonia island(our flight was delayed) we were surprised:1)about comfortable and beautiful room, 2)about housekeeper's hospitality,because on the table were fruits and vegetables and still warm tasty dish also there were bread,olive oil,salt and pepper,moreover in the fridge were drinks like cola,milk etc. We don't know how to describe all THESE in words. Next,during all weekend Ekaterina - the housekeeper was making us happy and surprised. She was giving us honey,jam,herbs and fruits. All these were very tasty. All time we were coming back from beaches to apartments was a feeling like we're coming back to our home. Family that keeps these apartments are friendly,lovely and wonderful people. They were ready to help their guests at any time. So,due to "Maria's Studios" our weekend became more pleasant and amazing. THANK YOU!!

The hosts were so nice and helpful! Welcome basket in the room was a very pleasant surprise :) Oranges from the trees were fantastic as well as the fresh eggs from the chickens! We enjoyed the garden and hammock and the homely atmosphere of this small hotel :) A very-very special and sweet place!
