On the Atlantic coast in Charente Maritime, in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, the Étoile Errante is located 50 m away from the beach of the Platin.
This 120 sq.m house with 4 bedrooms was completely renovated in 2011, in a simple way, like the neighbourhood. On the South-East side the atmosphere is in line with the peace of its private park planted with pine trees, holm oaks and strawberry trees of 550 sq.m: two terraces allow you to enjoy it in the quiet. It is heated to receive you in any season.

Family reunion

Great location and gite was fully equipped with quality apparatus. Lots to do locally in walking distance. Daily market with fresh products meat fish fruit and vegetables. Restaurants with views over the sea, together with views over the squares. The lovely beach was only 50 metres away and provided hours of fun. Easy access to local places of interest like, Royan and Cognac etc. Host was very accommodating with our stay and arrival and departure requirements. Our stay was arranged as a 50th birthday treat and we managed to create new memories based on our previous holidays in the area some 40 years previously. Exceeded our expectations.

Schönes Haus in sehr guter Lage

Ruhig und doch sehr nah am Zentrum UND Strand ( 1-2 min zu Fuss) gelegenes Haus mit genug Platz und Charme für meine Familie mit 3 Kindern. Es hätten noch 1 Kind und ein Ehepaar Platz gehabt. Sehr gute Privatsphäre. Ein Top Treffer.

Ideales Urlaubsdomizil für Rollstuhlfahrer

Wir haben 10 Tage mit unserem erwachsenen, schwerst körperbehinderten Sohn und seinem Assistenten in dem Haus verbracht.Für meinen Sohn, der sich nur im E-Rollstuhl bewegen kann, war alles perfekt.Das Bad großzügig und eben, der Küchentisch und die Arbeitsplatte unterfahrbar, der Hof eben. Sogar für Sehbehinderte und Blinde ist das EG ausgestattet (Braille-Kennzeichnung an Herd,Microwelle,Wasserhahn). Das Umfeld ist ebenfalls gut zugänglich (Saint-Palais-sur Mer mit schönen Restaurants,Bistros etc. 10Min zu Fuß,Küstenwege - manchmal mit kleinen Umwegen- gut befahrbar.) Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm.Wir hatten vor der Buchung eine Reihe Detailfragen zur Barrierefreiheit des Hauses, die alle umgehend beantwortet wurden. Fazit:Eines der ganz wenigen privaten Angebote eines wirklich barrierefreien Feriendomizils.Wir waren begeistert.

Séjour week-end de la Pentecôte

Propriété très bien placée entre plade du platin (à 2 minutes) à pied et centre-ville (à 10 mins maxi à pied). Lits faits à l'arrivée et linge de toilette fournis, très appréciable. Procédure d'arrivée très simple. Maison adaptée pour 2 familles de 2 enfants chacune. Seul bémol : plancher simple à l'étage donc pas d'isolation phonique entre RDC et étage.

Maison de bord de mer très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison se trouve juste à côté de la plage du Platin et le centre ville est accessible à pied. La maison est très fonctionnelle et bien équipée (lit bébé, chaise haute...). Le jardin est bien clôturé, les enfants peuvent donc jouer en toute sécurité. Une adorable cabane est installée dans le jardin. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et attentionnés (bouquet de fleurs et guimauves pour les enfants à notre arrivée), cela est très appréciable.

Maison avec des touches accueillantes , mais malheureusement très humide, fraiche voir glaciale pour un réveillon. Nous avons été dans l'obligation de demander deux autres radiateurs d'appoints afin de chauffer péniblement la propriété. Du fait des coupures de courant s'en sont suivies. Nous pensons que cette maison doit etre agreable par temps sec et ensoleillé. L'ensemble du sejour est beaucoup trop élevé par rapport à la qualité du sejour.

Maison très accueillante

La maison est parfaite pour un séjour en famille, suffisamment grande pour avoir chacun son petit univers et avec une grande pièce de vie pour profiter de moments conviviaux. Le contact avec les propriétaires est très simple. De petites attentions dans la maison font qu'on s'y sent très vite bien, notamment des jeux pour les enfants. Merci.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison Etoile errante est très bien aménagée et idéalement située.La plage est juste à côté et les commerces à 5 minutes à pied. Location absolument géniale

La maison est très bien rénovée, très bien équipée, le jardin est clos ce qui était super pour les enfants. Nous avons un petit garçon en fauteuil roulant et il a pu naviguer comme il voulait dans tout le rez de chaussée et la cour: c'était super. Les chambres aussi sont jolies et confortables. Une grande salle de bain en bas aménagée handicap et une petite en haut. On est vraiment juste à côté d'une très belle plage ou l'on peut s'adonner à la pêche à pied. Pour les baignades il y a d'autres plages mieux mais il faut prendre la voiture même si elles ne sont pas loin. Le cadre est magnifique, le soir superbe promenade à pied en bord de mer. Les commerces de Saint Palais sont très bien: boulangerie, super boucher traiteur, rôtisserie et grande surface à proximité. Pour les enfants plein de trucs sympas dans les environs et surtout le zoo de la Palmyre : à ne pas rater! Bref je conseille++++ et je pense qu'on y retournera.
