Enjoy the fireplace, play some pool on the mini-pool table in the loft or take in the sounds of nature. Outside there is a hot tub under the stars and a fire pit for your evening enjoyment. If you want to venture out, there is white-water rafting just down the road in the Nantahala Gorge or you can be more adventurous and try the two Zip Lines. The nearby town of Bryson City has wonderful small town stores to enjoy, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and antique shops. Harrah's Casino in Cherokee is just 1/2 hour away for gambling, concerts, restaurants, and more.

The cozy kitchen is an excellent spot for home-cooked meals. And grilling outside on the charcoal BBQ grill is sure to be a treat in the mountain setting in front of you. You can dine inside or outside at the picnic table under the covered front porch while enjoying the cool evenings, fireflies and the mountain sky.

The bedroom at Soaring Eagle Cabin has queen bed. If the kids are along, the futon in the loft makes into another queen bed.
