Pleased you enjoyed your stay, always welcome back.
A neat conversion and well eequipped; we felt potentially overlooked by the owners' own place (facing, across the courtyard) but never actually saw a face.
This property is perfectly sized for a couple. The host was great, contactable if needed. The property was very clean, has all the mod cons, has a parking space and is in a good location for the coast, small local towns or for a visit to York. I highly recommend this property.
There was everything we needed for our stay and Simon was there to help if we needed him. Very clean and well looked after.

All round lovely holiday, peaceful and relaxing location. Excellent cleanliness in the property. Simon and his partner were very friendly and excellent hosts. Would absolutely recommend a stay.
Fantastic rural location, friendly people, beautiful local food. Perfectly hidden from
Storm Ciara. Good central point for visits to the city and coast.
Outstanding, splendid, wonderful. A place to live in for a lifetime! Every detail, piece of furniture and overall atmosphere retains the kindness of the Webb family. A holiday we shall not forget!
The property is very well appointed with all modern conveniences and a powerful walk in shower. It's handy for visiting various North Yorkshire attractions such as Castle Howard. Simon the host lives very close by and is polite, friendly and informative. The local pub, the 'Blacksmiths Arms' is very good for steak meals as they have their own farm. Internet is available in the cottage however the signal is quite weak at times. Overall a pleasant stay.
We had a lovely time in Westow. The accommodation is brilliant, exactly as described with everything there that could be needed. Wewould wholeheartedly recommend!
Well created and tastefully decorated, in a very quiet and peaceful village.
Simon is very friendly and helpful...we would definitely recommend this property...😊.
Thank you...Phil and Stephanie from Essex.
This is an immaculately presented property in a lovely village. Simon and Mandy the owners are extremely helpful with tips of where to eat and visit locally. I really enjoyed my stay here and would thoroughly recommend this property for couples.

The property is pristine and looks absolutely brand new. The owner Simon, was very polite and nice.
The kitchen is an amazing shape and spacious. The bathroom is luxurious, with choice of shower heads.
However the lounge, although cosy, is a little small. The bedroom is also small and a little crowded with furniture. The table by the window and flowers was impressive, but made squeezing into bed difficult.
Also the long mirror was beautiful but not ideally placed to get past.
I did suggest some additions to the kitchen equipment, which included hand wash, hand towel, pair of oven gloves, baking trays, fish slice etc.
However, these minor items should not distract from a lovely cottage, close to the owners, who were always on hand.
A lovely weekend, celebrating my partner's birthday.

Perfect Base for Exploring Yorkshire
My husband and I spent five nights in Yorkshire over Easter and used Simon and Mandy’s Westow property as our base to explore this beautiful County. It was perfect.
After a full day’s sightseeing and exploring, we would return to a beautifully-appointed cottage and grounds in a quiet village. The property has been recently renovated to a high standard and it was fitted out with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
As a host, Simon was responsive, warm and helpful.
We would definitely return.
