Description - The apartment, completely restored in 2009 with a modern style, is on two floors. On the ground floor there is the living area, which includes the entrance hallway, a large living room with sofabed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom and an exclusive courtyard equipped with a small table with chairs. Upstairs there is the sleeping area with two bedrooms: one with double bed and one with two single beds. The apartment is equipped with heating and air conditioning, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer,iron and ironing board.

Location - The apartment is located in the quiet quarter of Cannaregio, where you can still feel the special atmosphere of Venice, rich in charm and history. Walking through the picturesque narrow streets you can reach, in just a few minutes, Strada Nova, and then Rialto Bridge and St. Marco. The proximity to the vaporetto stop of “Madonna dell’Orto” (100 m.) allows you to reach the apartment from the airport in just 30 minutes, or use public transport for easy access to the major historical attractions of Venice (Piazza S. Marco, Rialto, Fenice, etc.). It is also easy to reach the islands, such as Murano, Burano and Torcello and the headquarters of the Biennale.

Nice place to stay

The unit itself was very nice and clean. It was reasonably well located, there are restaurants a short distance away. The bed and pillows were somewhat hard. Also there was no hand soap provided and not many towels. You cannot easily get to a supermarket to buy anything so you need to bring those kind of essentials with you or stop at a store to get them before going to the unit. We arrived around 10pm and many places, including restaurants, were closed or closing. Be prepared to have to hire water taxis to get anywhere, except to some restaurants or some shops in nearby neighborhoods.
