Stag Party In September

The Property was perfect for a stag party. Close to Go -karting and with no neighbours to worry about noise. The pool , pool table, Table football, Jacuzzi, garden and general space was ideal, check in and check out easy. Importantly the Kitchen had 2 Fridge Freezers and pans big enough for large cooking. Top weekend

Hen Party

Really, really impressed with the Fortis House. Plenty of space for 19 of us on a hen do, comfortable beds, brilliant outside space with pool and hot tub. Just a great place for a weekend! We also really liked how secluded it was but was then only a 15/20 minute drive from everything else we had booked. Would definitely return if we were headed back to Bournemouth with a big group. C

Family and friends get together

Over all the accommodation was ok. Unfortunately we had to start by emptying the dishwasher. A little bit of a spring clean needed, looked a bit unused as cobwebs every where. Nice to have a swimming pool however not well maintained lots of leaves at the bottom. Garden a bit on the wild side. Great to have a pool table and hot tub. Dining area was a really good size for our group meals. Comfy beds. Maybe a problem with drainage as showers were a bit slow with water going down plug hole. Nice new carpets in some of the rooms. Overall a good base for a weekend.

The house and garden have sadly been neglected and have not been maintained. The bannisters aren’t secure at bottom of stairs, shower attachment is falling off wall, we had to fix back in to place, door handles loose, not easy to lock or unlock bathroom door. Toilets don’t flush properly so we kept bucket by each toilet to flush away waste. Unable to properly close back door into garden, mattresses badly stained and worn so springs could be felt, cracks in walls. Mould around base boards in some rooms. Kettle switch worked only intermittently, not enough cooking pans and utensils to cook for the 18 people in our family group, only 1 teaspoon in cutlery drawer.Does not have tumble dryer as stated in amenities. Pool chairs in poor condition with fabric torn. All in all very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Lovely stay for big groups in the summer

Had a lovely time at this place, lots of room for everyone to socialise in different areas of the property. Kitchen was a decent size but could have done with another oven and more tea towels. Bedrooms were comfortable sizes but could have had more mirrors/storage/floor space in a few of them. Loved the garden space with pool/hot tub/benches etc. Location of the property was a little bit random but local amenities were within a 10 minute drive, but was also nice to not be within close proximity to any other houses with regards to noise etc. Would recommend for big groups of friends looking for some time away :)

Hen Do Holiday

We had a great stay at this property. The hot tub, pool and garden were amazing and perfect for the beautiful weather we had during our stay. The dining area was spacious, only down side was there were not enough chairs for our whole group to sit down at the same time. The property felt spacious and the bunk beds were fun.

Great property

Great property if you're looking to have a party weekend with mates without annoying any neighbours, located in the middle of nowhere and only 25 minute taxi ride into town. The showers could be better but overall good trip - thanks
