About the host

Hosted by Mark Smith

Host profile image
Born and bred in Stroud, although I have family connections from South London. I have worked for myself for over twenty years in both Building Maintenance and Property Investment. Married with three young children, a love of the great outdoors and all things associated with it including dogs, Land Rovers and Ferrets!

Why they chose this property

This really is a great little property, we have owned it since 2002 when we had a family member living there. It has been fully renovated for use as a short term let and we have tried really hard to cater for every need. It is really well located for the town centre but far enough away and set back from the road. We live five minutes away and can be available to offer any help or guidance as may (or may not) be required.

What makes this property unique

Great views across to Rodborough Common and Rodborough Fort to the south and out to the west the view stretches over the rooftops of Stroud towards the Severn Vale and on a clear day the Brecon Beacons can be made out in the far distance.
