Ok for a business stay. Ideal for 1 or 2 but no more
This place is small but perfectly functional. There was no warm fuzzy feeling. The owners could do with staying a night there themselves to make some small improvements. Someone came into the property whilst we were out with no notification which I didn't appreciate. I found the camera at the door intrusive but it was ok. The heating was set to 9.5d and kept reverting back to that so we all left with colds. I wouldn't go back.

Hi Laura, thanks for your review. Sorry you seemed less than happy with our lovely apartment all our previous guests haves loved it. You mentioned small improvements but haven’t said what you would like to see improved which is a real shame because we always ask guests in our welcome email to let us know during your stay if you need anything. As you didn’t ask we couldn’t help. The heating is controlled by a smart thermostat which senses when guests are out it reheats within a matter of minutes when guests return. Also for the record the only people who entered the apartment during your stay were your family, housekeeping or maintenance would only enter if requested by guests and arranged by me. We have checked the CCTV to confirm this, a good job we have it!

Satisfied in Stroud
Good location, much closer to town centre than we'd realized. Apartment had everything we needed. Nice kitchen appliances, lots of hot water. Fairly quiet. Beautiful views of the countryside.

Perfect location to travel the west.
The property is modern, fresh and conveniently located for walking through the Cotswolds and exploring the western counties. It is well appointed with everything needed for the stay and convenient to local shopping, restaurants and pubs. The rail station is a 5-10 minute walk away with convenient links to anywhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Born and bred in Stroud, although I have family connections from South London. I have worked for myself for over twenty years in both Building Maintenance and Property Investment. Married with three young children, a love of the great outdoors and all things associated with it including dogs, Land Rovers and Ferrets!
Why they chose this property
This really is a great little property, we have owned it since 2002 when we had a family member living there. It has been fully renovated for use as a short term let and we have tried really hard to cater for every need. It is really well located for the town centre but far enough away and set back from the road. We live five minutes away and can be available to offer any help or guidance as may (or may not) be required.
What makes this property unique
Great views across to Rodborough Common and Rodborough Fort to the south and out to the west the view stretches over the rooftops of Stroud towards the Severn Vale and on a clear day the Brecon Beacons can be made out in the far distance.
