Welcome to Unit 12 at the Cabana Beach Club—your peaceful waterfront escape directly facing the bay and canal. This charming one-bedroom, one-bath corner unit offers extra privacy, as there are only three units on the entire property, creating an intimate and serene setting by the water.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious living room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the canal, and coastal décor designed for comfort and relaxation. The bedroom features a king-size bed, while the bathroom offers a walk-in shower. A queen-size pullout sofa in the living room and a dining table for four make this home perfect for couples or small families.

Enjoy modern conveniences including smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom and an in-unit washer and dryer.

Step outside onto your private porch facing the bay, where you can sip your morning coffee while watching manatees glide by, listening to birds, or simply soaking in the calm waterfront atmosphere. When you’re ready for the beach, the white sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico are just across the street. A heated pool is also conveniently located nearby.


We own all 3 unit, ask about uni 10&11 when planning family trip.


Everything you need is provided—towels, linens, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs set up on the beach, umbrella, and cooler. Just bring your suitcase and start relaxing!

This is the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of this quiet coastal area.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

The cabana was perfectly placed for our visit. It was clean and very comfortable. Having the beach across the road was quite convenient for us. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Longboat Key in the future. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely property. Being on the canal is so peaceful and we saw manatees every day! The Gulf is right across the street. Clean and well appointed - didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed our morning coffee out on the canal with the manatees every morning. The place was clean and in a beautiful setting. The owner was responsive and prompt to solve the missing blender by delivering another to our door. We would love to stay here again.

This rental is in an ideal spot--on the canal but just across the street from the bay. The owner/manager was very helpful with my mistakes booking this property (due to my poor tech skills.) I definitely recommend this property and owner/manager.

Lovely rental on canal

Very clean, nice property on salt water canal with daily visits from manatees and dolphins. This is 1 of 3 units in the building but feels very private. It was very well stocked with lots of little details that were super handy and appreciated.

Excellent location. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Unit well decorated with all essential there except for cooking spices (salt, pepper etc). Will highly recommend for those who don't want crowds.

The home, property and amenities were all just as promised in the listing. The home was very clean and smelled wonderful. Beautiful setting on the canal where we were frequently able to watch manatees and dolphins. I have absolutely no complaints. I plan to return and won’t hesitate to rent the same home.

Awesome Location if you enjoy waterfront views

I thoroughly enjoyed the property. I worked remote from the property and the Internet worked very well. I would take breaks from meetings and cast a few lines and caught snook from the dock. The beach is just across the street and it is very beautiful. You can walk the beach for many miles. The property manager was very easy to work with and wanted to assist in anyway. I highly recommend this location and would certainly stay here again.

January Stay on Longboat

We originally had a different unit on a canal but the unit was not ready due to two recent hurricanes. The owner Michaela reached out to let us know and offered to put us in a bigger unit for the same price as we had paid. This was our second year at Cabana Beach and we will definitely be back. The unit we stayed in was clean, beachy and well appointed. Can’t imagine all the island has gone through with these storms. It was nice to be there!!

Manatee Magnet

This property is awesome and perfect for a couples get away. Conveniently nestled between a channel and the Gulf, we must have seen 20 manatee in 5 days. The only draw back is the bed. It's hard and the bedding is not comfortable. It made sleeping stressful. With this said, I would not hesitate to come back to this property at all and would perhaps buy or bring something to make the bed more comfortable.

Lots to like about this property, especially the canal.

We enjoyed our stay. We liked being on the canal, and we had coffee there each morning. We didn’t see any manatees, but lots of fish jumped. The rooms left something to be desired. The king-sized bed was very soft, too soft for our taste. Also, the toilet did not flush properly, making it necessary to use the plunger constantly. It seemed odd that there was only one roll of toilet paper, no backup.

This condo served us well for an extended weekend on LBK; we were only there at nighttime (it was overflow sleeping space for those who couldn’t fit in the family condo). Generally felt clean and everything seemed to be in good working condition. Only word of caution is heavy use of plug-in air fresheners. I think there were 4 or 5 in this space and it was overwhelming. If you have fragrance sensitivities, you may want to ask for those to be removed prior to arrival.

Inside was pretty clean and well kept but small. Keurig and toaster did not work. Certainly no manatees playing out back. My biggest concern was with the mattress which was absolutely the worst mattress my wife or I have ever slept on. If you rely on a decent mattress for a good night's sleep do not stay here.

Florida Fun!

A very comfortable, clean, Florida beach place to stay. Drank our coffee on the canal in the morning watching a manatee family one morning and a dolphin cruise the canal the next. The pool was warm and easy beach access. Great Stay!
