4 Evans Terrace Beautiful Cottage in the heart of Aberdovey! Free parking permit
A beautifully renovated former Fisherman's cottage just yards from everything Aberdovey has to offer. The cottage is situated just off from the main square on a private terrace of just five cottages. It is close enough to access the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants but far enough back to be a quiet peaceful haven whenever you want. Retaining many of it's original features but also with every mod con you would expect in a modern home this cottage really will be the perfect base for your holiday.
Situated in a secluded terrace, set back from the main square, you will be a hop, skip and a jump away from all this village has to offer and the local beach. The sandy beach is segregated into a family friendly area for building sand castles, water sports or a spot of crabbing off the ever popular jetty whilst further along is a pet friendly beach stretching for several miles. You will be in easy reach of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst far enough away to remain undisturbed at night.
This charming cottage retains many original features, including a wood burning stove and slate fireplace. It also has many modern amenities including underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and a fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, one double and two bedrooms with full sized bunk beds so enough bedding for 6 upstairs.

Great short break, spending time together as a family including our dog who goes everywhere with us was so nice. The log burner made it nice and cosy. Booked for my wife’s birthday and bought back so many good memories for her when she was a child.

We (four adults and three dogs) had a fantastic weekend in Aberdyfi, staying at Sunny Shores. The cottage had everything we needed for our comfortable stay and is in the perfect location - walking distance to shops, plenty of eating places and the beach. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Perfect cottage with great amenities. Great base to explore local area and surrounding Snowdon.
Couldn’t ask for more. A great get away providing a cosy, snug base to explore. Clean and tidy cottage tucked away from the main road. Perfect to relax in for the evening and extremely accessible for the local sights, sounds, good and shops. Great base to go further afield as well. Snowdon and all it has to offer just over an hour away - lovely drives whichever way you go.

Fantastic!!!
Evans Cottage is a fantastic place to stay. About 5 minutes walk from the beach, it is tucked away up a quiet sidestreet. It is an old building full of character that has been modernised sympathetically and to a high standard. Shower / bathroom and kitchen great, log burner superb. This is highly recommended from our experience staying four days during March 2018

A perefct cottage in a perfect spot
This is a beautiful cottage very modern and high tech, everything was provided for us from cutlery to dishwasher and washing mashine. Very clean and tidy when we first entered the property, comfortable beds and seating area. The surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful. The owners are lovley and are always on call happy to answer any enquiries which made it very easy. I Will be returning again to this cottage for another adventure.

Beautiful cottage with every mod' con', lovely decor, perfect for us
We decided to give my mum an "experience" for her 85th birthday rather than a gift that she did not need. Lisa could not have been more kind and thoughtful, we absolutely loved our stay there. Aberdovey is such a pretty little seaside village and the cottage is so close to the little shops, beach etc. The cottage had everything we could possibly need, we loved the modern very well laid out rooms and can't wait to go back. Thank you so much Lisa and David.

Lovely cottage
Lovely cottage , the only thing I would criticise is the cleaning ( all the glasses in the cupboards were dirty and we had to wash them before use ! Was glad I contacted the owner prior to travelling as VRBO didn’t send me the entrance code until 5pm on our day of arrival. Would book through aber lovely next time
Will definitely be back , really cosy cottage 😊

Thanks Julie. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and loved the cottage as much as we do. We rely on our guests to use the dishwasher to clean crockery and glasses so sorry they weren’t sparkly for your arrival. Hopefully the Prosecco and Christmas goodies made up for it 🥰

My family and I spent a week here in August 2022, it was perfect for us because we wanted to be right in Aberdyfi for the town and beach, but also close to the mountains, valleys and lakes that make this part of Wales so magical. The cottage and back garden were just as described, and the owner Lisa was wonderful to communicate with whenever we had a question. Thank you so much, I wish we could come back every year :-)
Cottage had everything you would need for your stay. Very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding. Large fluffy white towels and an excellent shower. The property has access to a rear garden which is perfect if you have a young family or dogs as it’s fully enclosed. The only downside for us was the toilet being downstairs as my husband is of a certain age and gets up in the night
Lisa was always on hand if you had any problems
Perfect little cottage for a break away with my adult daughters and the dogs. Great location for exploring locally and visiting family. Comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The garden is a real plus!
No complaints whatsoever.

We stayed for Christmas and had an amazing time, the place is so well equipped and beautifully done out.
Lisa also makes a brilliant host, we will definitely be staying again !
Really lovely accommodation, had everything we needed, great information about area and places of interest to visit , and where to eat , everything was faultless not a negative at all , highly recommended
Great location, cottage had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and communications with Lisa were spot on, as were her crib sheets of things to do, a definite plus as we were there for only a very short period. We fell in love with Aberdovey, everyone was so friendly and the beach was pure heaven. A visit to Dolgoch Falls is a must.

Such a gorgeous cottage with a home from home feel. Our dog was so settled and the location is perfect for the shops, beach and pubs. Highly recommend this holiday let and the owner so lovely to deal with. Checked we were there ok and if we needed anything lots left a lovely bottle of bubbly for our arrival. About the host
Hosted by Lisa French
We are Lisa & David and we bought this cottage on a whim two weeks after meeting each five years later we are engaged and marrying next August and the cottage is completely renovated! We have five children and two dogs between us so our lives are pretty hectic but Aberdovey always provides us with the peace and serenity we need :)
Why they chose this property
It is perfectly positioned in Aberdovey being close to everything but within a quiet private terrace. It was in need of complete renovation and so we were able to afford it and wait a few years until we had enough money to make it what it is today- we really hope you appreciate the love that has gone into designing the cottage we are thrilled with the result!
