Great location on Thomas Drive. Walking distance to new Tootsie's and several popular bars and restaurants. Park right at your front door and no waiting on elevators at this family friendly complex. Sugar Beach condos are beachside so no crossing Thomas drive to enjoy the sugar white sands. This is a ground floor unit with a lush lawn right outside to enjoy games. You can relax here and sit on your patio overlooking the freshwater pond. Feed the Koi fish or stroll along the short path to the beach and enjoy the courtyard. Just 250 steps to the sugar white sands. Sugar Beach is a low rise property that features tennis/ pickleball courts a swimming pool, grilling area, and a wonderful clubhouse with ping pong table and kitchen/meeting area. Beach loungers (1 pair) and umbrella service included with rental in season (March to October) so no need to tote much to beach. Discounted rentals available for additional sets.
Complex has a fresh water pond with turtles and koi fish, bbq area, clubhouse, shuffleboard, pool & lighted tennis/pickle ball court. Just steps from the pool to the beach!

Fully equipped kitchen and condo. Washer/ dryer combo, iron & board, hair dryer.

Free WiFi and cable TV

Walk to Guadalajara, Ms. Newby's, Hammerhead Fred’s, Longboards, PCB Winery, coffee shops, ice cream , pizzeria, many restaurants, shopping, golf, go-carts & bars! Walk to Tootsie's!

Please note: Sugar Beach Owners Association requires primary renter to be 25 and stay in unit. There is a $35 parking registration fee collected at during the online registration process.

Please contact us prior to booking with pet. For stays three nights or less pet fee is $80 for 1st pet and $40 additional for second pet. For stay of 4 nights or longer pet fee is $150 for 1st pet and $50 for second pet. These fees are paid to the HOA at registration. We ask that the pets be registered 2 weeks prior to stay. Weight limit is 30 pounds. Certain breed restirctions apply so please check before booking. Vet records to be provided upon registration.

Check out time is 10:00 am.

Early check in or late check out available if cleaning time permits for a $35 fee per request due to high demand/requests.  Please confirm same with owner ahead of time.

FAQ's
1) Does unit have ocean view?
Unit does not have ocean view but has a lake view. Complex is on the beach but is U shaped with inside units facing the lake?

2) Does unit have steps?
There are 8 steps down from parking lot into unit. Otherwise stepless.

3) Does beach allow pets?
Per Panama City Beach ordinance dogs are not allowed on beach and you risk getting a ticket. There is a city dog park on beach about 15 minutes away. Dogs are allowed in complex on leash if registered.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please place any wet towels in the bathroom. Also please set the A/C to 78 degrees when leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets: 1st pet $80 for 3 nights or less, $150 for 4 nights or more, 2nd pet $25. Will be collected at registration. Must register with office. Vax req

The bedrooms and bathrooms were very small. Also it was a funky electrical system with some switches that had to be turned on to make another in another room work. It had a slightly musty smell also.The beach was gorgeous. The pool and club house are beautiful.

Location was nice. Able to park right at the back door. Patio door overlooked the pond. We had a pretty white heron to watch. Host was very communicative. Kitchen was stocked. We had a lovely stay at Kim’s property. From making the reservation to check out she was a delight to work with. She answered any and all questions we had. Unit is clean and very comfortable. The walk to the beach takes about 2 minutes. The added bonus of beach lounge chairs and umbrella being provided was so nice. Will be back!

The location was great, easy to walk to almost everything. You can even walk to the grocery store if you don't mind a couple miles round trip but it is an easy walk. The w all to the beach is also very easy and short. The complex is very clean and well kept. Everyone at the complex was very friendly. Did have to figure out how to set the hold temp on the smart thermostate to keep the temp from changing during our stay but other than that we had no issues.

   I  grew up coming to the beautiful beaches of Panama City Beach, Fl. I have so many precious memories with my family biking through St. Andrews State Park, fishing off the pier and jetties, watching the boats come in at Captain Anderson's and of course just enjoying the beach. I remember when Sugar Beach was built and feel so lucky to have a second home here. We bought here in 2016 hoping to make more wonderful  memories with friends and family. We hope to share our love of Panama City with you!
