A beautiful stop on our travel through Scotland. The apartment is lovely, quiet Except for some traffic noise), and very comfortable. The welcome basket was a warm touch! Much nicer stay than we would have had in Inverness!

Dolphins and more
Great house in avoch with views over the Harbour and Moray Firth. Boat trips to view dolphins directly opposite. Five minute drive tomfortrose and chanonry point - saw dolphins both times. Cottage very comfortable - felt more like a very well cared private home than a rental. Lovely touches - welcome hamper, lovely toiletries, teabags, coffee etc. Also lovely artwork by owners throughout house. Would definitely stay there again

Glad you enjoyed your stay: and saw our local dolphins!
Our overall experience (my hubby and I) at this property was great, relaxing & fun. Plenty of room, well-equipped kitchen, a window seat I enjoyed reading & coloring from, fun DVD collection of Scottish films & a tub for soaking at the end of daily excursion. This was a great jumping off spot for us as we love to drive & roam around the country side. Joyful neighborhood walks and a divine chip shop across the way. I loved watching the boats go out and come in as I watched cooking from the kitchen window. The owners are beyond lovely and helpful. Scrumptious places to dine and it's here I discovered my favorite new gin...so far.

Val and her husband were delightful guests and we are glad they they liked the property and the Scottish Highlands! They were friendly and likeable guests who looked after Taigh Sonas and left it in immaculate condition. We would be pleased to host them again.
Andrew and Lee, owners.
Taigh Sonas is a very well equipped and comfortable property made a "home from home" by personal touches by Andrew and Lee. It was our first visit to this part of Scotland and
is perfectly located for exploring the Black Isle.
We loved it and hope to return
(ps the local honey from next door but one is fantastic)

Anne and family were delightful guests who left the property clean and tidy and even watered the plants! We would be delighted to host them again.
Property was larger than expected, well equipped with excellent views of the harbour and free parking. All Covid regulations were adhered to with ample guidance left for visitors benefit. The house was very comfortable and very clean. We will happily visit again.
Brilliant stay, clean, comfortable, cosy and compact, home from home. Owners attention to detail is instantly obvious. The welcome pack represents an exceptional attention to detail and hospitality. Wonderful accommodation, we highly recommended it.

Lovely guests and left the flat in sparkling condition; many thanks!
Relaxing time good location easy access to most places you would visit. Loved the view of the harbour from the bay window whilst drinking a cupa or having a glass of wine.
A lovely location with harbour views. Beautifully presented with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a welcome hamper. Avoch is within a cycle ride/walk, along an old railway track, to Fortrose and Chanonary Point via a coastal path, which eventually takes you to Rosemarkie and it’s beautiful walks and beaches. We thoroughly recommend Andrew and Lee’s cottage,
They are wonderful hosts. Thank you.

Thanks to David and Jos: excellent guests and we are so glad that they enjoyed their stay. In these tricky times for us all, they looked after Taigh Sonas well and left it in spotless condition!
We look forward to welcoming them back to the Black Isle.
The home was fantastic. Both couples enjoyed the lounge area. The Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils. We would recommend the property to anyone.

many thanks: we loved hosting you all and look forward to a return trip!
Iovely apartment with a perfect view to Avoch Harbour. Nice and responsive landlord. For 2 meter guys the ceiling feels quite low. But most of the we spent outside in the Black Isle - a spot to relax and calm down.

A beautiful cosy cottage by the harbour.
The owners greeted us with a personalised basket of goodies which set our stay off to a great start. The cottage was warm and cosy, with all the home comforts you could need. It is in a great location, right opposite the harbour and convenient for exploring the local area. We had a great stay!
