Beautiful Lanikai studio with stunning ocean view offers the perfect getaway for a single or couple. Ideal for Military personnel transferring to or from O'ahu who need a month or several months rental. Just a ten minute walk to either Lanikai or Kailua Beach, both consistently ranked as two of the world's top beaches. Enjoy artistic furnishings, and artwork by owner/artist. Relax on either the large shared lanai or your own private deck overlooking the Pacific and Mokulua Islands. Sunrises are many times absolutely spectacular with West Maui Mountain and Molokai in the distance, as well as the moon rises over the Mokuluas, lighting up the ocean. In winter months, the migrating humpback whales can be seen beyond the reef.

Rates include 14.962% taxes; (GET/TAT: 080-695-9616-01). Owner lives on property upstairs and studio has its own private entrance and parking stall. As of 10/23/22 rentals under C&Co of Honolulu must be 90 days or more. Contact owner for more information.

As soon as you walk into the studio you are blown away by the breathtaking view, the patio, and the cleanliness of the studio! Had an absolutely fabulous time, Noni was a great host and was so accommodating (especially when it rained!). The studio is located right in between Kailua and Lanikai beaches which were incredible and only a short walk away. We will definitely be back!

The most Ono View ever!

Noni was an excellent host. Great at communications, easy, clear, prompt and when we met her she had the most wonderful energy! She is a lovely artist (her work is in the studio) and a school teacher! The studio was pretty private which was interesting since it is below the main house, but we had use of a large lanai that was a wonderful place to eat dinner, stargaze and ocean gaze. The bed was huge and comfy, the linens felt amazing and the comforter was beautiful and tasteful. I loved waking up to sunrises right outside my window in the morning and feeling the trade winds blow through the sliding glass door screen. The location of this studio is amazing, right up a small hill from the beach and with covered parking included! We swam from Lanikai beach to Flat Island using boogie boards provided by the house, hit the beach daily at 7:30 am and had the trip of a lifetime!

Stay here. Not at a resort.

Looking for a place to stay your first time in Hawaii can be intimidating. To choose a resort, or not choose a resort. Don't do it. Stay here instead. This was a great place to stay that is clean and located 5 minutes walking from two great natural beaches. The room is cozy and was great to celebrate our anniversary. There is a grocery store nearby to get snacks and drinks. The main positive is that it takes you away from the thousands of tourists and into a community. You can visit the local arts and craft fair, local market, and do things that real locals do. It also made it easy to drive up the coast to the north shore and experience even more of the island (try Giuseppe's Shrimp Truck). I can't say enough about the room and location. Both were outstanding. Our favorite part was sitting on the lanai and watching the sunrise. The view of the ocean is amazing from here. When (not if) we go back, we will try to book here again. It was so nice that we couldn't help but feel let down when we visited Waikiki one night. Only suggestion: rent a convertible so that you can see the island at your own pace. Everything is easy to find if you have a smartphone, and close enough together that we had to fill up once in the entire week. Thank you for a great stay!

Dream vacation at the Lanikai Studio

Mu husband and I stayed for a month in the Lanikai Studio. It was everything we hoped for, only better. We will definately be back. The view from the deck is spectacular: one of my favorite in all of Oahu. We never got tired of watching the sunrise over the Mokes, the brilliant blue colors of the ocean changing thoughout the day, and the kite surfers and outrigger canoes heading out on the water. The beaches are extraordinary and just a short walk away through the neighborhood. We swam and snorkled daily at Lanikai Beach and regularly got to swim with turtles. The studio itself is clean and tastefully decorated with lovely artwork. We wanted to live lightly while in Hawaii (easy to do in paradise) and found the space perfect. The bed is comfortable and the unit well supplied though simple and not over the top: it was just the way we wanted it. We cooked most of our meals at home and grilled almost daily. I loved working in the kitchen. It was small but very fun to work in with the door open, facing the ocean. There is an off street parking site- important in this area with little side streets. Noni is a wonderful host- we miss her already! Her niece Loni covered part of the time we were there too and was equally as gracious. We are so grateful to have enjoyed their family home. Bridget

AWESOME - Lanikai is amazing and this aprtment is in the perfect location

I lived on Oahu for 5 years back in the 90's and Lanikai is one of my favorite places in the world. This apartment is strategically located right at the beginning of the loop as you enter Lanikai. It is not on the water but rather up a rather steep short hill that affords some pretty amazing views that are shown in the photos. I stayed here with my girlfriend for a long weekend from LA and we really enjoyed the studio apartment. It is small but really cute and we thought the prices were very affordable. Where else can you get a parking spot in a garage, use of a kayak, beach accessories, towels, etc. and feel like you are a local? Not in any hotel on Oahu no matter how much you pay. We also rented bikes and we could easily ride in to town or around the loop (you could also walk but we live dangerously). Getting back up the steep driveway was a challenge all it's own but we did it! As for amenities and layout, I feel bad for the other gentleman who had some bad luck with the apartment because we had no issues at all. Lanikai is known as one of the top kite surfing and windsurfing destinations in the world so if you are afraid or bothered by wind you should not stay in Lanikai (or Hawaii for that matter). As for the lanai/patio, yes you do share one of the patios with the main house but there is in fact a side lanai that is shown in the photos that is only for the studio. This is a great place to watch the sunset. We found Noni (the owner) to be very personable and open to every need or request. She is there if you need her but we really never needed her. We are an active couple so we were out of the apartment quite a bit going on hikes or to the beach. You can easily walk to both. I could go on and on about how great it is but if you are looking for a cute little studio in one of the most amazing locations in the world at a great price then this is the place for you. We will be back.

Lanikai getaway

I am familiar with Lanikai so choosing the location was easy for me. I communicated with the property manager prior to my arrival due to the Covid-19 travel requirements. Unfortunately we had to quarantine for 14 days but the property was comfortable and the view was gorgeous. After our quarantine we could walk to the beach which was perfect due to the current parking and beach regulations. Great location. Would love to stay there again.

Wonderful little getaway!

Wonderful quiet getaway with a great view for a short stay. None was a great host. VRBO itself however was not helpful. VRBO has become much more cumbersome and less helpful than they were in earlier years

Location!

Noni is a wonderful host. The studio is perfect for a couple and has a large shared deck with a great view and is easy walking distance to both Kailua and Lanikai beaches.

Small apartment with amazing view

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Lanikai in Noni‘s apartment. We spent 5 nights there and loved it. Close to some stunning beaches, a shortish drive to many activities on Oahu and generally a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice and comfortable despite being on the small side. Everything we needed was provided and available and their was also a wide mix of beach equipment for our use including a kayak that we took to one of the small nearby islands. In summary, we can recommend this apartment without hesitation and would love to be back in the future.

It's a very beautiful place with an amazing view to the Monks! Very friendly owners.

We had a wonderful time at the east side of Oahu. Although, the Hurricane Olivia passed near Maui during our stay and we had to deal with heavy rain and strong wind. The owner of this beautiful place is very friendly and helpful for any questions, which might arise.

Quiet in paradise

We had a wonderful time @ Noni's place. All that was promised is true; great views from the lanai, walking distance to the beach; a very comfortable bed, and we really appreciated having use of the paddle boards and kayak. Magical location!

Cannot speak highly enough about this perfect studio apartment. The view is simply magical, even better than the pictures suggest. Noni is a wonderful host who makes you instantly feel welcome. The studio is private and spacious with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The place is well stocked with everything you could possibly think of or need. Lanikai beach is less than 5 min walk away, which is sensational in its own right. Buzz's Restaurant is also less than 10 min walk and is a must! The trade winds lightly blowing through the window really accentuate the tropical experience and overall relaxing atmosphere of the studio. If you are looking for the perfect Hawaiian getaway, this it it.

Great couples getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Puna Floyd, a cozy studio with the most comfortable bed and the greatest view in Lanikai. Our Host, Noni, was both gracious and accommodating. Parking was ample, and we were within an easy walk or drive from Lanikai And Kailua beaches. You don't need your beach stuff because she has most of the essentials there. While we were there her niece Allison was staying with Noni, and she is a wonderful massage therapist. What more can I say? If there is any way possible we will be back!

Perfect in every way

It is hard to put into words how stunning the ocean view is from this studio. We arrived after dark and were enthralled with the studio itself, but when we opened the door to the patio in the morning, the view of the ocean simply took our breath away. Everything about our stay in the studio (including our host, Noni) was perfect--so perfect, that we abandoned many of our plans in favor of spending most of our time enjoying the studio and patio or walking to the two gorgeous beaches which were just down the road from the studio. February in Hawaii is beautiful, but even more beautiful with a view from the Lanikai Studio.

Great location

Stated for 4 nights in Nov. Noni is a great host and welcomed us at our arrival. The deck has a great view of Lanikai beach. You are half way between Lanikai and Kailua beaches, both worth exploring with their stunning views. You can walk to both as well as to the Pill box trail head (worth it, 30min + one way) but would recommend you rent a car as services are at least 20 min away abd Kailua is 40 min away by foot ( I know).. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is small but well equipped. Would hughly recommend for short stay.

Amazing Views and access to an amazing beach

The Lankikai studio is in a great location, a quick 5 minute walk to the beach and not far from town and great places to eat (Habachi, Buzz's), the studio is clean and cute, it is small but very comfortable (the bed was nice). The view from the studio at sunrise is amazing. The outside deck is nice as well, but not truly private but other renters were not there when we were there so it was great. The kitchen is small but clean and well stocked. Noni was very nice and helpful. She lets you use her beachchairs, mats, umbrella and kayak (although the weather prevented us from doing so). My only complaint was that the noise from the house above can get a bit loud at times but that was not often. We'll be back for the views and Lanikai beach. Thank you Noni.

Beautiful views, close to the beach, cosy studio

My husband and I stayed at this studio on our trip to Kailua/Lanikai. We wish we could have been able to stay there longer. The room, which was clean and tidy, has a king sized bed - very comfortable and there are screened windows on two sides so you get the ocean breeze. There is a small kitchen, which comes in handy for being able to have meals at home. You can eat out on the terrace and enjoy the ocean view. I loved being only a block or two walk from the beach. This is not a fancy place and those who like Waikiki commercial hotels may prefer another choice, but we would definitely go back again.

Best location and view

We spent 10 nights here to visit our son who also lives in Lanikai. He and his friend arranged for us to stay here so we were somewhat skeptical. But after stepping inside and seeing the view from all windows of the ocean and Mokalua Islands we couldn't believe it. So easy to fall asleep with the cool ocean breeze! Noni & Petty (the owners) are just wonderful ladies and very accomodating. The unit has everything you need even in the small kitchen. Located in a very safe neighborhood. We will definitely return to stay here when we visit our son again. All photos are exactly as it is in the studio. You will not regret staying here!

Heavenly Lanikai

This is a charming place to stay with a breathtaking view. The sunrises are truly incredible. The location is out of the fray-a quiet neighborhood with good access to the restaurants and shopping of Kailua. It is only a 30 minute drive to Honolulu. Gorgeous beaches are in easy walking distance as well as a classic restaurant and local, funky grocery. The owner, Noni, is super accommodating and friendly without being intrusive. The studio was clean and well appointed with all the amenities needed for beach life. We used the barbecue extensively and enjoyed our meals on the deck, taking in the view. We have already recommended this place to friends. We came home a week ago and are ready to go back to lovely Lanikai and this cozy studio on the hill.
