The property marker shows the property location incorrectly. This property is a 2 1/2 to 3 min walk from the sandy beach of Lanikai.
Walk through the entry gate, and find yourself in the middle of your own personal "resort". A lush tropical yard greets you as you walk to the front door of this unique traditional beach-side cottage in the up-scale Lanikai neighborhood. The professionally landscaped property creates a welcoming and cool setting even on hot summer days. You just might have trouble pulling yourself (and the kids) away from our beach-entry pool to get over to Lanikai beach with its powder-soft sand, 200 meters away. The pool is always a great hit with young and old with its "lagoon feeling". This combined with this property's beach-side location, makes enjoying the unique feel of Lanikai a highlight.

Windward beaches with their powdery soft sand and gentle protected waters are among the best swimming beaches in the world. The Mokulua Islands off shore have been included in numerous advertisements and movies.
This home is one of the last few remaining Hawaiian-style beach cottages offering its renters an exceptional setting and truly unique Hawaiian experience. The house has an open floor-plan with an extensive patio deck, which is ideal for island-style indoor-outdoor living and delights with a casual elegance. It even boasts a rare fireplace (for Hawaii).
It is updated to today's standards, and tastefully decorated, while maintaining its traditional charm. There are two master bedroom suites and one bedroom with an adjoining bathroom off the hallway. All of the bedrooms have wall-unit air conditioning (no central air). The kitchen has marble counters and modern appliances. Hardwood floors throughout are easy on your barefoot feet.
We welcome families with children.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. We accept one stay once per month. Please inquire about your desired length of stay. The rental will be exclusively reserved for one rental party for 30 days, and not re-rented to another party, as is required by local by-laws. Our 30 day rental fee is the same as our 14 day rental fee to keep things economical for you. You are of course welcome to physically occupy according to your schedule for however long you can within the 30 day window.

2. While we are happy to accommodate shorter stays, local by-laws do not allow us to pro-rate for shorter stays. The rate displayed is the rate charged.
Rates and fees are subject to seasonal change, special discounts, and how many bedrooms are rented. We give discounts for extended stays and last minute bookings. Please inquire.

3. If you are unsure about your guest list, or your guest list changes, please contact the owner before making final arrangements with your guests. Occupancy is limited to a maximum number of occupants for each 30-day booking period. We do not cater to rotating different guest groups throughout your stay.

4. The caretaker's cottage portion is not part of this rental arrangement. It is used by owner or caretaker to accommodate maintenance.

Picture Perfect Paradise

This property and the location are pure pure perfection. Everything about our stay was top notch and I would not change a single thing. The location in Lanikai is close to the beach but far enough away so that the area is private and quiet. The pool is gorgeous and one of our favorite things to do was to drink our coffee or tea in the early morning's by the pool in the pool house. All of the amenities that anyone would need for a stay at the house, beach or the pool are on site and in excellent condition. We are already dreaming of our return visit.

Paradise

Beautiful home and spectacular yard and pool. House is a little dated but adds to its charm. My only complaint worth mentioning is the comfort of the beds and pillows. Had to go out and buy our own pillows, and the mattresses are very hard. The best feature of the home is the caretaker. He is absolutely wonderful!!! It’s like having your own personal concierge. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about him!!! Location of the house is wonderful. Very close to the beach, and a beautiful neighborhood to walk. Had a wonderful month!!!

Perfect Hawaii House!

This is a beautiful home surrounded by shady lush grounds with an historic banyan tree framing the mountain peaks - in an excellent location. The lagoon swimming pool and hot tub were perfect for our family. It is maintained to a very high standard and there is an on site caretaker who is very helpful with whatever we needed. The property is very well equipped, even a little red wagon to take your gear to the perfect beach a block away!

Exceeded Expectations

What a lovely home in a lovely neighborhood. The house is beautiful and the grounds truly are exceptional. I know sometimes you worry that the pictures are deceiving but the photos were spot with this place. My family loved the backyard area, the pool, the hot tub, the beautiful flowers, the birds. The neighborhood is amazing as well. We knew very little about Oahu and honestly just stumbled upon this place. But the location is perfect. Quaint, not crowded beach just a few hundred yards away. A phenomenal hike right behind the house. Shopping and restaurants 10 minutes away. Way away from the craziness of the tourist district. I can't say enough good things about this place. Not sure we will have the chance to spend a month in Hawaii again but if you get the chance you won't be disappointed if you stay here. Added bonus is the property manager (Topher). So kind, so helpful and full of tips for how to make the most out of your vacation!

Paradise!

This home, host and location are all amazing! The yard feels like a peaceful piece of paradise, the whole vibe of the neighbourhood and the beach nearby was the best part of our vacation. We truly relaxed and unplugged. The host provided all the information we needed and the on-site caretaker gave us some of the best recommendations. We wouldn’t hesitate returning or recommending this home.
