We had a nice stay. The house was comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious but in need of some TLC. The parking is a BIG problem. There are just 3-4 parking spaces at the end of the terrace, if lucky enough to get one. If not, then everywhere is permit parking or time restricted - this is a huge problem. The property was tired and in need of some repairs and updating. It could be much nicer. EG: Cupboard door hanging off in kitchen, bedroom blind broken, toilet seat and, awkwardly positioned, loo roll holder were loose. Loved the shower though and very spacious bathroom. Garden is wild and uninviting. Swapping double and twin bedrooms would be good. Maybe a wardrobe in smaller (double) room rather than a bookshelf. An info pack with TV instructions, wifi code etc would be helpful. It's superbly located for Blenheim, so if the plan is to park and walk into Woodstock/Blenheim daily then its fantastic but if day trips in the car are on the agenda, this is not the best place to stay and is not good for anyone with mobility issues. Celeste was so helpful in establishing for us that Blue Badge holders could park in permit holder bays but her efforts were slightly wasted as Woodstock Live festival meant ALL were taken and my husband spent hours (no exaggeration) in the car (coffee in hand) until festival finished. So a very mixed review from us.
