Blenheim Edge, The Causeway is a Victorian stone cottage situated in the town of Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside find free parking on side street close to the cottage, alternative street parking may be available nearby in Brook Hill. There is also an enclosed garden with patio and furniture. 1 well behaved dog welcome but sorry, no smoking. Resting in a lovely destination oozing with charm, Blenheim Edge, The Causeway is a wonderful retreat in a magnificent part of England.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. Talk Talk TV and WiFi. Fuel, power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Free parking available between 6pm and 8am or nearby in Union Street car park where 12 hour parking is available or more alternative street parking may be available nearby in Brook Hill. Enclosed garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. 5 mins walk to the centre of Woodstock. Note: Due to the location near the main road there may be occasional noise from traffic. Note: Guests can pull up close to the cottage to unload luggage

Woodstock is also a good touring base for exploring the university town of Oxford and its many attractions.

We had a nice stay. The house was comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious but in need of some TLC. The parking is a BIG problem. There are just 3-4 parking spaces at the end of the terrace, if lucky enough to get one. If not, then everywhere is permit parking or time restricted - this is a huge problem. The property was tired and in need of some repairs and updating. It could be much nicer. EG: Cupboard door hanging off in kitchen, bedroom blind broken, toilet seat and, awkwardly positioned, loo roll holder were loose. Loved the shower though and very spacious bathroom. Garden is wild and uninviting. Swapping double and twin bedrooms would be good. Maybe a wardrobe in smaller (double) room rather than a bookshelf. An info pack with TV instructions, wifi code etc would be helpful. It's superbly located for Blenheim, so if the plan is to park and walk into Woodstock/Blenheim daily then its fantastic but if day trips in the car are on the agenda, this is not the best place to stay and is not good for anyone with mobility issues. Celeste was so helpful in establishing for us that Blue Badge holders could park in permit holder bays but her efforts were slightly wasted as Woodstock Live festival meant ALL were taken and my husband spent hours (no exaggeration) in the car (coffee in hand) until festival finished. So a very mixed review from us.
