This delightful seaside village is in a magnificent spot for enjoying wonderful walking on the South West Coast path, fishing and a quiet sandy cove are all within ¼ mile. Golf 5 miles, Camel Trail cycle path to Padstow 8 miles. Eden Project 40-minute drive. Shop 200 yards, pub 400 yards.

Wonderful rental

Ann, the owner was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the rental very clean. We had everything we needed. The location was quiet and perfect for us. We were sad to leave!

Lower Moon is a really comfortable,cosy cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is well located - not only for being able to walk into the town, but also for other attractions. For example Padstow, Tintagel, Fowey, Mevagissey, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens are all comfortably within an hour's drive. We arrived on 4 July - which was the start of the 'unlocking' post Coronavirus - so Port Isaac was not quite as busy as it may have been normally and not everything was fully open but we were able to eat out on 3 evenings . If visiting any local attractions (e.g Tintagel, the Eden Project) it is essential to pre book at present Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Anne was the perfect host. The cottage was presented in the highest standard, particularly under the prevailing COVID conditions. All tourist places were easily accessible from Port Isaac and the village itself lives up to its billing as a film location for both Fishermans Friends and Doc Martin. Greeted on arrival by very helpful and welcoming host. Shown how to operate storage heaters (as we have no experience of using them) and shown where everything was kept. An open offer of assistance was given too but we are already familiar with the area. Very comfortable home from home.

We were delighted with our choice to stay at Lower Moon. The property is well furnished and spotlessly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater and the co-op in the next street was handy. It was good to have private parking and the property is just a short walk from the harbour. Easy drive to several beaches. Would highly recommend for a family of four. Port Isaac is a great location.

The bungalow was very clean and tidy with a well stocked kitchen. We were very warmly welcomed. We could just have done with firmer support on the chairs and settee. The patio has lovely furniture and is a sun trap. The area has everything you need and all within walking distance. Would definitely go back again.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner who handed us the keys and showed us round the bungalow. This was our 3rd visit to the property and it was as good as before. It is very cosy and has good facilities. The sea view is amazing and Port Isaac is in a lovely setting with many places to visit.
