Great week away

We stayed in the bungalow for a week in February with our 2 children and my parents. We were surprised with how big the bungalow was. The owners left scones, cream and jam for us adults and sweets on the kids beds which they were very excited about. The Bungalow was clean and tidy. It had everything we could possibly need. The beach was literally 2 mins walk away. Walcott Beach is a large sandy beach, we would love to come back one summer to really appreciate it. Perfect location to explore Norfolk. Half hour drive away from the seaside towns of Cromer, Great Yarmouth and Sheringham. Would definitely reccomend this bungalow. The Owner was very lovely and helpful. Would love to return one day.

Rothiemay was absolutely wonderful.

Rothiemay was absolutely wonderful. The bungalow was warm and welcoming and extremely comfortable. It was a very nice location with the open fields at the back and the beach a few minutes walk away. We and our three dogs really enjoyed the week and will hopefully be going back next year.

Cottage was very well equipped in a lovely location close to the sea front. A very private sheltered garden is also a bonus. However I do feel that there are elements of the cottage beginning to look a little tired in need of updating

Loved our stay at Rothiemay. Afternoon tea and freshly made bread set out on our arrival was a wonderful suprise. Fresh eggs butter and milk was a lovely gesture. The cottage has everything you need. Beautiful garden , lovely and clean cosy cottage. Loved the fresh flowers in the bedrooms. We all loved our holiday at rothiemay. We would highly recommend rothiemay. We will definately book here again.

We had a lovely holiday at Rothiemay.

We had a lovely holiday at Rothiemay. The house was very clean and well equipped. We were very pleased with the scones and clotted cream on arrival, plus other items, milk, bread, eggs. We loved the conservatory, which was a delight to sit in and watch the birds on the bird feeders in the garden. The house was well situated for the beach, being just a five minute walk, the dogs loved the beach, which was dog friendly on certain parts. We visited many attractions during our holiday, including Fairhaven Water gardens, Felbrigg hall, Blickling Estate, Wroxham Barns, Priory Maze and gardens. All of these attractions were approx. half hour drive, and all dog friendly.

A truly excellent cottage. Well equipped with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Great location, quiet and private garden, comfy conservatory. The welcome treats (scones, cream, jam, bread, eggs, milk) were a lovely touch to find on our arrival, and helped set the tone for a fantastic holiday. It was clear that much effort has been put into making guests feel welcome. Thank you!

A very roomy, comfortable cottage with absolutely everything you could want. Location was excellent for walking the beach and visiting the area. The nearby Cafe and chip shop were a favorite as was the nearby pub - all within an easy stroll and the village shop was well stocked. The gardens were beautiful and we really enjoyed the conservatory.

We love Rothiemay, and had a lovely week apart from the weather! Sunny the week before, sunny and warm since we came home, but for our holiday we had to drive through rain, hail and gales to get there. But what a welcome we had! Wafting from the kitchen the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread, and a lovely "cream tea" to go with it!! The cottage is great, - spacious, comfortable, cosy , well furnished and equipped, and very clean. The garden is great too, and our 2 little dogs loved to explore the nooks and crannies. I am not going to say any more, as now difficult to find a space, as so many folk, like us, cannot wait to get back!!!!!!!
