This was a quiet idyllic cosy venue to explore the Peak District with footpaths and bridleway from the cottage and a bike storage facility behind the cottage. The cottage was very clean, the owner provided the cleaning gel and wipes for covid19 precautions. The kitchen had adequate utensils and we were able to make different meals at home as well as eating out. I will book this again for a family walking or cycling holiday or with friend. We had a really enjoyable week at Forest View.
We had a really enjoyable week at Forest View. The cottage was both clean and well equipped. The owners Jill and David left a generous welcome pack and the fire was alight when we arrived which made the room very cosy. It was difficult to score for local amenities as the reason we chose this cottage was its rural location. In addition there were lots of restrictions locally due to Covid 19. We still had a fantastic time, especially in the beautiful hillsides and we were relatively lucky with the weather! We would definitely stay again.
