My family and I have hired holiday cottages a number of times and we can say that Hafod rates with the best, if not the best. The location and accommodation was perfect for us and a friendly welcome added to the experience. We would have no reservation of recommending it to others.

Hafod is a lovely cottage situated on a working farm.

Hafod is a lovely cottage situated on a working farm. The owners were helpful and friendly. It is very peaceful and has lovely countryside views. It is also very comfortable and cosy. The weather was wet and cold when we arrived but the cottage was warm and welcoming. Then, as the weather improved, we enjoyed sitting outside at the end of the day with a glass of wine - talking to the bulls (large and small) in the field just over the wall! They were really friendly. We thought about walking into Abersoch - and it would have been possible - but we never got around to it. There are many lovely places to visit and lots of coastal walks all around the area. Our favourite local place was Llanbedrog, for the beach and the art gallery. The lady in the shop in Llangian was absolutely lovely. Fresh eggs and welsh cakes were my favourites from her (not together - although I may give it a try!) Altogether a lovely holiday, made perfect by this peaceful cottage.
