It was a little hard to find, as it’s off a minor road and we took a wrong turn, the instructions could be clearer. That aside, it’s a lovely complex of cottages, plenty of parking space, a very quiet spot with views onto lovely countryside. Behind the cottages there’s an ample lawn with swings and a trampoline for kids. The staff were extremely helpful throughout. A 15 min walk takes you down the hill to the beach which was very pleasant, with some great snorkeling and rock pools. The main beach was a little busy, there is a campsite, and at this time of social distancing it can get a little bit hard to keep to yourself, especially near the tidal pool. But with a paddle boat you can access some nearby quieter beaches.
The cottage itself was nicely apportioned, it had all the required facilities - very good cooker and microwave, a good quality tv, comfortable beds though only one bedroom with three beds if that is an issue, and a comfortable bedroom. It was cosy and we enjoyed lazy mornings in the cottage. The table outside is at a slight angle, so not perfectly level, but adequate.
All in all, a very enjoyable stay, with some minor caveats, but I’d definitely return.

Linhay cottage is on Bodigga Cliff, it's a 1-min walk from the cottage door to stunning scenery on the SW Coastal Path, and a 15-min walk down the Path to Millendreath beach. Dogs aren't allowed on Milendreath beach from 10am to 6pm in the summer, but our dog loved having the run of the huge garden, and scampering along the Coastal Path east to Looe and west to Seaton.
From here we day-tripped to Looe, Polperro, and even Newquay and St Ives.
The evening sunsets over the fields were beautiful. We ate and drank al fresco to enjoy the splendour. It was so quiet, calm, and gorgeous. We loved every minute. The wifi is great too. I would absolutely recommend this place to families with children, and anyone who likes to see the stars at night! We will be back.

Not luxury but nice traditional cottage in a great location.
Not luxury but nice traditional cottage in a great location. Not far from the beach but a car is essential to get to the town and anywhere else for that matter as it is quite remote. Great staff Dennis and his business partner only had to resolve 1 issue for us but did it with no fuss at all and were very helpful and friendly

The cottage was comfortable.
The cottage was comfortable. It was within a mile of a pub but it was a difficult walk in the dark and was not open alot at this time of the year. We enjoyed the break and the owners were helpful.
