Amazing location in Looe, fantastic holiday!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Looe. The cottage is perfectly suited to a family of four, very bright, airy and spacious; the photos really do not do the place justice. Ideally situated a 10 minute (steep!) walk to the beach and harbour, with many excellent restaurants offering the freshest seafood. We also enjoyed the stunning views as you step outside the back garden gate and the gorgeous sunsets from the large window in the front room. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others.

Very disappointing

From our experience, we feel the state of the property means it is overpriced and oversold. Despite the accuracy of stunning views and a very peaceful and quiet location, we were very disappointed with our stay there. We had problems accessing the property initially, we had to ask for basic equipment to be provided in the kitchen such as washing up bowl, tin opener that wasn’t rusty, cooking utensils and wine glasses and dishes suitable for the oven. We had black mildew and mould in the shower and bathroom all of which the host did resolve fairly promptly. However, some of our other issues were not addressed. Furthermore the statement about storage is inaccurate as there are no drawers suitable for clothing in either bedroom and an unpleasant odour of damp in the lounge and bedroom. We vacated the property early when the electricity supply kept cutting out tripping the fuses which we eventually discovered were in the garage. We would also add that this property would be quite challenging for anyone with mobility problems dues to the steps and steepness of access on foot to the beach. Thankfully this was not one of our issues.

Amazing Location

Wonderful family get away to Cornwall. The location of this property is breathtaking. Amazing views at the front of the property and from the garden you are straight out onto the meadow on the cliffs with unbeatable sea views and access to the beach. We had an amazing time. Thank you 😊
