The cottage was perfect. Out of the way, no traffic and no noise. Had everything we needed and the host was there for us to check in.

Lovely 2 bed cottage, with everything you need.
Lovely 2 bed cottage, with everything you need. The hosts were welcoming, and on hand if you needed anything. The area is very quiet and peaceful, the only noise we heard while there were lambs in the fields and bird song, and that was only outside; the walls of the cottage are so thick world war 3 could have started, and we wouldn't have noticed! The only draw back (for some people) is that the farm and cottage are at the end of a 2 mile long lane, which doesn't have many passing places, and there is no local pub to walk to. But that didn't bother us, and we were aware of these factors when booking. We were well placed for our day trips out, and even Paignton was only an easy 35 minutes drive away, the A38 being so close.
Had a lovely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Great Peaceful location to get away from it all but within easy reach of lots of great places... Haytor, Haldon Forest park, Castle Drogo. Our daughter loved feeding the ducks and seeing the lambs. Thanks Debbie for looking after us so well

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. We were greeted when we arrived and given tips on where we could go and how best to get into Exeter town centre. Yes, it is out in the sticks, but that was just what we wanted. You have to drive carefully round the country lanes and something is bound to be coming towards you, but there are places to pull over and allow a herd of cows to come past you! The rooms were lovely and clean, fresh bed linen on the beds and towels put out. Nothing is within walking distance, but lots of things are nearby when you have a car. We enjoyed Exeter Quay and the shopping centre at Princesshay. There's a huge Sainsbury's a short drive away. We would really love to go there again.
