I rented a studio for my first week which was very clean, but I did not expect it to be so small with no view of anything.

I'm sorry the room size and location of the Studio unit didn't meet your expectations. Room assignments are made at time of check-in and I know from past experience that most of the Studio units are quite roomy and offer a view of the city/marina or pool/ocean view. Jan/Feb is the busiest season at this resort and room inventory is always 100% booked. As I understand from a previous message, your 2nd week of your stay in my 1 bedroom suite was much larger and more to your satisfaction. In the future, I will work with guests to submit specific room location requests prior to arrival to better meet expectations.

Excellent stay at Mayan Palace Marina

This is the wife and myself preferred place to stay because of access to so many eating places at the marina and cheap bus fares to downtown. Everything is as advertised. I'm a clean freak and when I go to a hotel I wipe everything down....well, I put a wet towel down on the floor and mopped the entire room and was surprised to find barely any dirt on a white towel, EXCELLENT house keeping. We had a room on the street side this year and were apprehensive of street noise and lack of the ocean view, boy were we wrong...the view of the mountains and the overlook of marina and activity is much more interesting than looking at people on lounge chairs, you could not detect any street noise. Overall this is the perfect place to experience many different foods and easy inexpensive access to downtown Puerto Vallerto.

Many thanks, Keith and Kathy, for your booking and review. I agree whole-heartedly that this is the perfect location to visit Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I spent two weeks there last March and came to the same conclusion about the mountain & marina view. I love being able to walk to so many nearby restaurants and strolling through the marina. We also enjoyed relaxing with the view at the adult lounge area near the beach.
