Perfect for a family getaway or couples retreat, this beautiful cottage in the heart of Keswick is within walking distance of Derwentwater and the surrounding Lake District fells and mountains. Formally known as Baree.. Ground Floor:

Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair.. Small, rear enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. On road parking. Visit England 4 Star. No smoking.. This beautiful semi-detached cottage has been decorated with great care and attention to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Sleeping up to four adults, this property is very well equipped, offering one double bedroom and one twin bedroom both dressed in comfortable linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep for all, with the flexible arrangements making it perfect for families and couples. The hub of this cottage is undoubtedly the fantastic open-plan kitchen and dining room, with French doors leading into the living room. This truly makes a great open-flowing space, especially good for kids, so you can always keep an eye on them, with an airy yet cosy ambience throughout.
Lavender Cottage has a low ceiling at the top of the stairs so please take care. Steep stairs.
On-street parking is available, or alternatively, the bus stop is only two streets away on the main road.
If you like outdoor adventures such as walking, cycling and climbing, the local area surrounds you with some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn, just to name a few. You can easily walk into Keswick town centre and leave the car behind, the town centre is a short, flat walk away and the edge of Derwentwater just a 10-minute walk. Its bustling centre has an abundance of quality restaurants, pubs serving local cask ales, independent shops and obligatory outdoor and fashion brands, along with plenty of delis, bakeries, coffee shops and local craft stalls. Famous for its narrow streets and courtyards, this traditional market town is one not to be missed.
