Set in landscaped grounds of holiday village, with use of tennis court and with fishing within the grounds. This is an ideal rural location to tour the whole of Cornwall, south Devon and Dartmoor. South east Cornwall has some of the best and most varied countryside in the whole of the south west of England, from the mists of Bodmin Moor, the creeks and valleys of the rivers to the secluded coves, sandy beaches and rocky outcrops of the coastline in the south. A 15-minute drive will take you to the spectacular South Cornwall Coastline and the famous fishing town of Looe. Just along the coast from Looe nestles the tiny fishing village of Polperro, with its harbour and narrow streets. There is a network of footpaths which pass through some of the most scenic countryside in the district, one of which leads directly from the village.
The city of Plymouth is just 18 miles and is home to the award-winning National Marine Aquarium. Our mild winters ensure that many plants are able to thrive in Cornwall. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are both within 25 miles. There are many historic houses to visit close by including Cotehele, Lanhydrock and Antony. There is horse riding nearby, and golf courses within 20 miles include the ’course that Jack built’ at St Mellion, Looe Bindown and Lanhydrock. Liskeard sports a leisure centre with swimming pool, squash, indoor bowling, badminton and fitness suite. From Liskeard train station you can take the lovely branch line which runs down to Looe through the wooded East Looe Valley. Nearby Siblyback Lake offers windsurfing, dinghy sailing, canoeing and fishing. Mount Edgcumbe Park with its 800 acres of parkland located on the Tamar estuary is also well worth a visit. Pub 1½ miles.
There is a water feature/pond on the grounds of this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cleaner Julie was at the property when we arrived and made sure the place was immaculate for us. No complaints about the property at all. We paid an additional £25 for the rod licence for the 5 days, which
Overall the chalet was ok, but it is very dated, the sofa is very old with ripped cushions. The place just smells stale and dated. Having a pound meter in use is very old school and we just don’t carry change very often. So this is a pain. Would we come back.. no.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Poor information
The photo of the lake view is not the Rosecraddoc Holiday Village but is Rosecraddoc Manor (which is part of same company and is also holiday accommodation), so misleading. We were not informed that the chalets have an electric meter which only take £1 coins! Its on their website but Vrbo and Cottages.com did not pass on the info. So first day of holiday was spent finding a bank and it was not nice worrying about how long £1 would last, would the fridge switch off in the middle of the night (it did). Also very stingy with loo roll (one roll only), no hand soap despite folder stating it is provided. No leaflet about buying WiFi was in the property, but the folder stated it was. Overall excellent cleanliness, quiet, well maintained site, lovely woodland walk nearby for dogs, not really a children's site, no shop; but check their website so you are fully prepared.
On the last day when electricity power off we were unable to do anything. We all were in deep thinking. When I was searching everywhere how to switch on the power found that electricity power will be on if we insert a £1 Coin. That made me surprised which I never see. However the holiday house was very nice and the area too.

Very clean and does the job.
Very clean and does the job. Not the most modern but the £1 electric meter, but didn’t spoil our stay. Would recommend especially for families wanting a base to explore Cornwall.

Excellent accommodation.
Excellent accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and very well equipped with all necessary items plus extra for us if needed. We loved the location, such a pretty and peaceful spot. Perfect for us to unwind and enjoy this area of Cornwall.
Located very close to Liskeard which in turn gave us more options than we had time for, to visit the many coastal and other areas than would be of interest to families and couples alike. Cannot wait to visit again.

We were looking for dog-friendly accommodation rather late in the day due to the Covid situation.
We were looking for dog-friendly accommodation rather late in the day due to the Covid situation. Trebah was available and appeared to offer what we needed. We were not disappointed; the accommodation was very good; very clean, well equipped, spacious for just the 3 of us and would be fine for the 6 it can accommodate. A well appointed kitchen, clean and modern bathroom, pleasant grassed area surrounding along with a picnic-table on the patio. The holiday village is very well presented, surrounded by fields; a nice place to stay to relax and unwind. Amenities away from the site are a car journey away; Liskeard being 5-10 minutes so no issue. The Village Inn was unfortunately closed for the season, for understandable reasons, however we did not see any notification of that on the website when booking so were expecting to visit it during our stay. Overall, very good holiday accommodation, a well-kept site, dog friendly and set in beautiful surroundings. We would certainly stay there again.
