This light and airy sandstone cottage provides spacious accommodation for up to six people, furnished to a high standard of comfort. The Ivy Cottage is situated in a residential area of Keswick, opposite the Keswick Convention Centre and only a five minute level walk into the town centre.

The cottage has a private courtyard garden providing a pleasant area to relax, and views to Latrigg from the front bedrooms.

Lovely house near all of Keswick’s amenities. Beds comfy. Nice and clean. WiFi good. Would have liked a bench in the front garden and a light over the hob. Other than that pretty perfect.

The property was spacious and clean. Think it lacked a few personal touches to make it a bit more homely- particularly in the living room. Throws and nicer lighting would help. Stayed with 2 friends all in our early 60s. Out all day..Downstairs shower room a bit shabby but great to have two bathroom options. Kitchen seemed well equipped although we ate out and didn't use it at all. Surprised there was no welcome pack...Parking was easy. 10 minute walk to Keswick. Quiet area.

House was really well equipped and had feel of family home. Excellent info about appliances . Beds are exceptionally comfortable . Able to park outside house. For information heavy rain last night resulted in leak in dormer window coming in through ceiling next to it.

This very pleasant house provided an excellent base for a family get together with our sons, daughter-in-law and, of course, the dog! It's comfy, clean and quite spacious (although as there's no separate dining room, the dining table in the kitchen makes it feel a bit cramped when cooking - but there is a separate scullery with it's own sink for food prep etc, which helps). It's well provisioned in terms of cooking equipment if you want to cook, and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance if you don't. 10 minutes walk to the town centre, and excellent walks to suit all abilities can be enjoyed nearby. Parking is on street - you may not be able to guarantee parking right outside the cottage, but there always seemed to be spaces free on the street, especially after the weekend. We'd be very happy to stay again (especially if you can guarantee the excellent weather we enjoyed during our stay!).
