Wet Room: Shower, Toilet. Cot and highchair.. Set in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor, Rosecraddoc Manor boasts a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by three stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds, some offer spa baths and some offer saunas.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April – October. There are several pubs locally.
Looe, with its many attractions is just 8 miles away whilst historic Plymouth with its city attractions and the Eden Project are both about 20 miles. Shop and pub 1½ miles.. All properties: Bed linen included. Electric storage heaters and electricity by meter reading. Wi-Fi available (£9 per week per device, £15 per week for 3 devices). Payphone (shared). Gardens, garden furniture and tennis court (shared). Fishing available on-site (licence required). Private parking. No smoking. Please note: The properties have a natural water supply from a borehole. There is an unfenced lake and river in the grounds.

Yes, would rebook this. Settings are beautiful and tranquil. Accommodation was cosy and had good amenities. Do pack rackets or for the tennis court. Even fishing rods as lake is stunning. Bathroom plug needs a seal as you can’t keep water in sink. Kitchen tap needs a tightening. Note to future bookings. Make sure you read up on Electric and having to leave cash. Shops aren’t local for quick draw out of money. A card debit at reception would make it easier.
