Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Electric woodburner in living room included. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed garden with barbecue. Shared courtyard and furniture. Bike store.. Designed to exacting standards, these three exceptionally comfortable adjoining properties offer a peaceful courtyard setting on the owners’ non-working farm. With a games room and gymnasium just steps away (open all year), guests can unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Footpaths cross local farmland and the National Forest, while a nature reserve is only 0.75 miles away. Attractions like Lichfield Cathedral, Uttoxeter’s racecourse, cinema, and Sudbury Hall’s Museum of Childhood are all within 10 miles. Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Tamworth SnowDome, Shugborough Hall, Calke Abbey (NT), and Dovedale in the Peak District National Park are all within 20 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 0.5 miles.. All properties: Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Private parking. We had a lovely short break at Grooms Cottage with our 1 year old daughter and dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well presented, homely yet spacious. The games room was a brill edition and the pool and hot tub were an amazing amenity to have open access to. For the price it was fantastic value for money. Really good for family groups, we were able to book all 3 cottages for two families and grandma & gr

Really good for family groups, we were able to book all 3 cottages for two families and grandma & grandad. Some ok walks in the area but not brilliant to walk directly from the cottages as you have to negotiate a main road for 200m first. Nice AGA in one cottage, shame it wasn’t on! the pool and sports area is fabulous for families, really lovely building and very warm and the owners relaxed about when we used it.

Very relaxing week.

Very relaxing week. Plenty to see and do in the area but the quiet and relatively remote location made it hard to leave. Beautiful heated swimming pool was a very pleasant bonus. Didn't use the games room but was well appointed and can see the advantage during bad weather. Cottage very well appointed and can see a lot of thought went into the process. Thoroughly recommend for all ages. We will be returning, hopefully with our small grandchildren as this is ideal for kids as well as our age group
