Idyllic, rural and peaceful, three bedroomed cottage nestled in a beautiful Devon valley betwixt the moors and the sea. Lovely beaches nearby and a swimming pool; plenty of choice on where to take a swim!. Ground Floor:

Garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Meadowland and paddock (shared). Heated swimming pool (10.5m x 5.5m, Open for sole use Mon–Sat, 10am–2pm, May to Sept, subject to weather, other times during the day subject to availability with guests in the main house). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole.. This beautifully converted 18th-century barn is ideally situated for the ‘English Riviera’ and exploring Dartmoor. Situated in the small farming hamlet of Blagdon, located between Torbay and Totnes, it’s less than 3 miles from award-winning sandy beaches in Paignton and fishing harbours in Brixham.
The Cottage adjoins the owner’s home set within its own 400-year old wall, where you will have sole use of the outdoor heated swimming pool, subject to times.
Nearby, there are lots of National Trust properties to visit, coastal paths to walk, Paignton Zoo, or take the steam railway to Dartmouth, or have fun at the local water park. The historic town of Totnes and the River Dart is only 4 miles away. Whilst supermarkets are nearby, our local farm shops provide lots of locally produced supplies. Pubs are a few miles up or down the road.
There is a welcome hamper which includes; Devon Cream Tea, milk, tea, coffee etc. and a bottle of wine. Pool is open for your sole use between 10am and 2pm, except Sundays and measures 10.5m by 5.5m, open from May to September, weather permitting. Other times are available, but are subject to use by guests in the main house. We try to ensure all guests get to enjoy sole use of the pool area. There is a private water supply to this property. Initial fuel for woodburner included, thereafter available locally at cost.
