Lovely property which is in the countryside so nice and quiet, but perfectly placed close to everything you would need. So much to do within a 40 minute drive.
Property was nice and tidy, well looked after and the people that run the property were very welcoming

Excellent cottage, very convenient to the area and very friendly owners. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and they have clearly put in the effort to make sure everything is disinfected. The gardens were beautiful with a few farm animals that my son loved

We are a retired couple very busy with charity work and we needed a complete rest away from lots of activity. Henwood was well equipped, warm, nice views from the upper floor living room and a warm welcome (including a bottle of wine. Henwood was ideal. We did a couple of lovely walks, Old Winchester Hill and Queen Elizabeth Park, both just a short drive away. The Old George in East Meon and the Thomas Lord in West Meon produced excellent food in relaxed and friendly atmospheres. We are bit reluctant to recommend it because we want to keep it a secret, but that would not be fair.

Lovely location, friendly owners.
Lovely location, friendly owners. Nice to be on a working farm with easily accessible walks and plenty to do in the surrounding area. Beautiful views. Only negative was that the shower lacked water pressure and temperature control. A wonderful holiday cottage. Highly recommend for families and couples.

We were very happy with this property - the reality was better than the photograph.
We were very happy with this property - the reality was better than the photograph. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and characterful and has lovely views thanks to the 'upside-down' arrangement of the accommodation. It is in a very quiet, peaceful location only one mile from East Meon (two pubs) and two miles from West Meon (one pub and a small shop), with larger food shops in Petersfield about five miles away. There are plenty of footpaths locally providing interesting walks with lovely views. The owners were very helpful and always on hand if something needed doing.
