This spacious 19th century house is a great base for families with so much to see and do nearby.. Designed by William Bell circa 1899, Dunvarlich House is a superb example of Arts and Crafts movement architecture and has a Historic Scotland listing category B. The house occupies a stunning position with breathtaking views overlooking the River Tay, with its 18th-century stone bridge, glens and mountains beyond. A double staircase sweeps up either side of a fireplace with log burning stove, leading to four generous bedrooms and two large Victorian bathrooms. The caretakers are resident in a completely separate private rear wing.

Extremely atmospheric and palatial home set in beautiful grounds with fabulous views. Some quirky qualities and fantastic antiques. Lots to entertain ourselves with by way of games and hampers full of dressing up costumes to suit all ages.
Ann was particularly accommodating and extremely kind to us all.
The house is great fun. It's a lovely Edwardian home. There are masses of bedrooms, and four sitting areas. So lots of places to get together, and away from each other. The garden is lovely, and the town has lots of things to do, places to eat, walks, a good size co-op, coffee shops, etc. The fire places where lovely. I'd happily go back.
This property is great for a family holiday. Easy access to walks, golf and the town centre. Great secure garden and loads of space for everyone to do their own thing.

Lovely stay at this very different and fabulous house.
Lovely stay at this very different and fabulous house. We had 10 in our party and there was ample space for all to dine at the large dining table. Huge bedrooms and a quirky downstairs toilet which was fun to use. Gardens and summer house were great for the children (and adults) , also fun was had with the dressing up box.
Altogether great place for a large extended family break or celebration for those who appreciate traditional decor whilst having all mod cons.
