The cottage was very well presented and well equipped, the location was a bit remote for us but that is only our opinion.
The only comments we would make and we do not mean to be negative, are that the towels were very hard and although the cottage was advertised as dog friendly dogs were not allowed on furniture and beds, whilst we understand that not everyone wants this its difficult to stop as at home the dog has a free run but we cover the places that we need to, had we have known we would have bought covers, but as it was we went out and bought some large bath towels to cover the furniture.
We would recommend the cottage to anyone and although we did not have much contact with the owners (our fault not theirs) they seemed very nice people.

Lovely cottage close to coastal path and cove.
Lovely cottage close to coastal path and cove. Dog walk across fields to St Just literally on doorstep. Very comfy double bed. Curtains in lounge were annoying - 4 sections - but unless people using right of way to walk to fields, no one around to see in. Very well equipped and comfy lounge. Modern TV. Super safe and pretty back garden. Would stay again.

This is a very comfortable, clean and relaxing place to stay. We loved everything about it. The garden was ideal for my 2 dogs. It was well stocked with everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. It was great to meet Melanie and she made us feel most welcome. We loved the animal neighbours. The location was ideal for us. To sum it up. Perfect.

Lovely area, barn is in need of updating, some of the furniture is dated, and a refresh needed. The bedrooms get light very early as curtains are thin. It’s a nice barn, but expensive for the standard of furnishings.
Having said all that we would return as we love this area of Cornwall .

We had a delightful stay in Porth Nanven Barn.
We had a delightful stay in Porth Nanven Barn. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with a relaxed atmosphere. There are numerous walks direct from the door and St Just is just a short walk away for supplies. We were made very welcome by the owners who, whilst being available, were not intrusive. The back garden is sheltered and perfect for al-fresco dining. All in all, a lovely cottage to relax in.

Very comfortable cottage: very dog friendly particularly the garden, although people using path through car park can cause a distraction. Local amenities in St Just adequate, although parking problematic. Excellent base for local walks and for those with geological or mining interests.

Spotlessly clean.
Spotlessly clean. Really warm and cozy so didn’t get round to using the log burner. Complimentary bottles of red and white wine very nice touch.
Lucky to be staying during a full moon and along with the extremely dark sky could see so many stars, making the walk to the Wellington Hotel in St Just very pleasant. Good location for walking South West Coastal path. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
