Great place to stay and the owners are very informative about the area.
Great place to stay and the owners are very informative about the area. The location is gorgeous with some beautiful woods behind the farm to explore but you will need to drive to get anywhere else. The house was spotless with everything provided for us including a carton of milk and a cake which was a lovey surprise. The cottage has such a wonderful homely feel to it and the most beautiful window seat upstairs (where we had our bedtime storieswith the kids). If I was forced to critise something about the house in all honesty the only thing I could think of was that there was no shelf above the sink in the upstairs bathroom which would've been nice. But that's literally the only thing I can think of, everything else was perfect and met our needs brilliantly. The area is breathtaking and the beaches are gorgeous with lots to choose from and lots to explore while there. I would highly recommend this cottage as its just so beauful and well looked after (the beds are also super comfy as are the pillows) we had such a great holiday and was very sad to leave. The icing on the cake is that the people that live round the cottage are also lovely and very friendly which was great. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Perfect Cornish Cottage
This is a hidden Cornish gem, tucked away in the peace of green fields and country lanes yet close to the A39, a beautiful home, fully functional and homely, well equipped and ideally located to explore Cornwall and Devon. Beautiful coves and villages nearby, no end of beautiful beaches and lovely places to visit. We had the best long weekend and can't wait to return.

Great location.
Great location. Friendly and helpful neighbours. Safely away from other people (Needed for COVID) Very well equiped kitchen, much appreciated as we had only just come out of COVID Shielding and still wanted to avoid other people as far as possible. Full use was made of the washing machine and tumble dryer, having young grandchildren with us. Internet limitation was problematic as we had to conserve useage to be sure we could order groceries online (COVID) also couldn't stream TV or download updates. We had a really good time; quite off the beaten track but good for getting to various places the war museum up the road in Davidstow was lovely day out run by volunteers, also crackington haven was a walk but challenging as the host warned. The big bonus was the b & b next door which doubles up as a restaurant was friendly welcoming and the food amazing we had Sunday lunch and and evening meal brilliant prices and we could take our own wine. Maybe take a couple of DVD and CDs with you as not many there.

My words to describe this would be - the perfect staycation retreat! All the home comforts you could ever want, central to so many beautiful coastal locations and villages. . The best bit, peace and quiet! Great family/couple's/solo cottage, and very well layed out! Being in a rural location, it's very private and would make a great romantic get away! Very spacious but cosy, has some character to it, very rustic-modern inside There wasn't anything I didn't like! Will be booking for more staycations in the future. 10/10- this review doesn't even come close to how much I loved being in this place!

We had a lovely time, the cottage was clean and had great facilities. The baskets of children’s toys was a great touch and ours loved them. The large kitchen was amazingly equipped. And it was great having a little garden to sit out in the evenings too.
