Lovely walk into Keswick where there is everything you need, returned on the bus whoever there's a bus stop across the road. Had a lovely meal in the pheasant inn within walking distance. Lakeland distillery also within distance, worth having a tour. If you wanted to do posh there is Armathwaite hall close by.

Excellent property.
Excellent property. Only minor issue is the positioning of the bathroom in the house - downstairs from the bedrooms. But it’s an old Victorian house so is quirky like that! So much space in there, all equipment great. No local amenities within walking distance, but we knew that when we booked. Great access to Keswick and the northern lakes. Great stay!

very good house and break can I suggest that the house would benefit from a handrail between the first floor landing and the utility room - similar to the staircase handrail
